We had a wonderful time at the property, would definitely recommend for large groups/families. The house was very clean and spacious surrounded by a beautiful quiet neighbourhood. Breathtaking views and plenty of local shops and restaurants to choose from. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Clean and great location

Extremely clean and well maintained property. Beds are comfy and beautiful views from the kitchen. The only constructive feedback we can think of is that there isn't a hair-dryer or any 'Welcome' starter packs such as tea, coffee for the coffee machine but wouldn't class this as a big deal. Very highly recommend- thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Mums weekend getaway

We were very happy with Castle on the Hill. It meet all our expectations and created a nice relaxing time away for the 10 of us. We were able to lounge around the open fire, and have massages, hikes and all meals within walking distance. We didn’t have to get in the car once. The amazing view out my bedroom window was especially nice to wake up to. Thank you!

Fabulous house in a wonderful location. Close to main town and lovely walks and biking trails.

Loved the outdoor fire pit. Great location close to town. Just lacked a few homely touches (pictures, clocks, simple decor) to breakup the stark white walls. Could also do with providing a few basic pantry staples - sugar, teabags, oil Overall, loved the house and we will be back.

This house was fantastically new and great for small children. It was unfortunate that there was no internet and the communication with the property management was on the slower side. A great spot if you are looking for somewhere close to Lake Mountain.

It was a lovely house. Nice and warm.

It is well stocked with most things you need in a house. I would just like to add, you need to add oven mitts, whisk and scissors. Other than that, all the kitchen utensils you would ever need.

Perfect country getaway
