Located only a short walk to the surf beach, surf shop and local general store, this fantastic family holiday home has lots of great features. The beach is suitable for both children and the serious surfer and is patrolled from late December through to Easter. The four bedrooms (plus the games rumpus room) sleeps ten people.' (Sorry kids play equipment not in use). No wifi or internet, (due to isolated location). NOT PET FRIENDLY The living area and rumpus room have a TV, DVD and CD player. There is a large, fully equiped modern kitchen, 2 bathrooms, laundry with a washing machine and a dryer, large outdoor deck. BBQ & outdoor setting. Coffee machine is a De Longhi Expresso Manual Machine which takes ground coffee beans. Split system cooling and heating. The driveway has ample room for 2 cars or a car and a boat. Sleeps 9 Bedroom 1 - 1 X QUEEN BED with ensuite and walk in robe. Bedroom 2 - 1 X BUNK, (top bunk suitable for children). Bedroom 3 - 1 X TRI BUNK, (double on the bottom and single on top, top bunk suitable for children). Bedroom 4 - 1 X QUEEN BED
LINEN NOT SUPPLIED Doonas with covers and pillows are supplied, however, YOU are required to bring your own LINEN, (top/bottom sheets, towels, bathmats and pillowcases) or you can hire these for an extra $25 per person. Please advise us if you wish to hire linen prior to arrival. Beds made up is an extra $15 per bed and must be advised a minimum of 7 days in advance of arrival.

GUESTS upon booking MUST advise ages of all guests. STRICTLY no Schoolies, Bucks Parties, Hens Parties. It is a requirement of our owners to obtain ages and number of guests staying at this property. All guests must be 25 years of age or older unless accompanied by an adult, guardian or parent. If the accompanying guardian is not present, we can evict without refund. The host reserves the right at any time to cancel or not proceed with a booking that does not meet these requirements.
This property does not have any policies, procedures or resources in place to accommodate the unique needs of school graduates during the annual 'Schoolies Week' period. It does not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of school graduate guests during this period. If at any time we find you are accommodating more people than you have booked for, you will be evicted immediately and extra charges may apply. All bookings are subject to owner confirmation and approval.
You will be required to sign The Guest Registration Form and provide us with a copy of your Drivers Licence & Credit Card prior to your arrival OR on check in.
NON SMOKING POLICY: applies to all of our holiday rental properties both inside and outside the property - extra cleaning charges may apply for any butts found on the property.
Bookings - are accepted by First National in good faith as agents for the property owners. Bonds: Some properties charge a guest bond.
CANCELLATION POLICY Upon booking a 50% deposit is payable immediately. The total balance is payable 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellation requests before the 30 days of arrival - 50% deposit will be refunded Cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival – No money will be refunded
KEY COLLECTION - All keys must be picked up and must be returned to our office in Cowes. You will be required to sign The Guest Registration Form and provide our office with a copy of your Drivers License & Credit Card prior to your arrival OR on check in. AFTER HOURS KEY COLLECTION MUST BE ARRANGED WITH US THE DAY BEFORE ARRIVAL.

Really lovely property
We found we were very well situated for the beach and also that the property was well set up for our family. I wasn't sure of the bed sizes for the sheets before we left and had luckily guessed right, so I think that could be added to the description, but otherwise felt the description was very accurate. A very nice place to stay

The outside deck was unkempt , not swept, BBQ was so ancient, no globe in bedroom lamp, so couldn’t read, 2nd double bed had bar across it and very uncomfortable, pillow cases left on pillows were all wet, so had to take off, not that we ordered linen, we brought our own, no attention to basics. Huge house paint tubs about 4 in bedroom wardrobe. Something wrong with front door lock so couldn’t lock door, left valuables in our car boot.
Not what you would expect for top $$$$.

We loved our stay, close to beach & all attractions at Phillip Island. Clean living space's, plenty of room for the kids to play games. Beds we're a little low & too soft but that's just personal taste. We can't wait to come back again soon!

Lovely location but no wifi and security lights wake u up !
You need to be up front about the wifi especially as people often go away in holidays entertain kids but work ! Made things quite difficult ! Plus you need better curtains as the escort sensor lights wake u up or turn them off of u have people staying ! Far too expensive with these problems.
We had 2 families with young kids, the setup of the house was great - 1 wing on either side of the living area (with 2 bedrooms in each), so it was perfect for 2 families.
The kitchen was well stocked with crockery etc and the house is modern and clean.
Good location close to Smiths beach, although about 10 mins drive into Cowes.
There is a playground in the backyard, but it is quite delapidated and unsafe for little kids.
Check in/check out process could be made easier by having a key box at the property - it is a little annoying having to go into Cowes to return keys (especially when the traffic to get off the island after a long weekend is mayhem).
Otherwise we had a great stay and would definitely return.

Fabulous house, we are keen to return!
We stayed at 7 Gilmore St for a week in January and had an amazing time. My in-laws from the UK were with us and the house was ideal, we all loved it. The layout of the property worked so well, with the two separate 'wings' for sleeping, and the shared living/dining/kitchen area. The play equipment in the backyard was a huge bonus and kept our toddler well entertained! The house was immaculately presented and had all the equipment and amenities we required. It is ideally located, within easy walking distance of the spectacular Smiths Beach. We will definitely return to stay at this property in the future. (Would love it as our own holiday house!).
