If you are looking for a place to unwind and relax or a well equipped bayside “work from home” location this spot is for you. Located in a quiet area tucked away from the crowds you have the choice of chilling with a cold one on the balcony enjoying awesome views or joining the party by the beach which is just short walk away.

This is our family weekender and we love it here. It is a newly renovated three bedroom, two bathroom waterfront reserve apartment in a 1960s block (with lift). This apartment has spectacular views over Gunnamatta bay from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom. It is a short walk to the beach, Gunnamatta baths, restaurants and shops, cinema, ferry and train. Although off street parking is available, there is hardly a need to drive as you can get everything you need from local shops or catch the train to the airport, CBD or shopping precincts including Miranda.

It has comfortable sleeping arrangements with a king size bed in the main bedroom (room sleeps 2), queen size bed and king single loft bed in bedroom 2 (room sleeps 3) and in the third bedroom is a king single loft bed, a single bed and a trundle single (room sleeps 3).

For the student or those working from home this apartment offers free wifi with NBN speeds, printer and desks in the main bedroom, bedroom 3 and the living room.

Chilling Bay for a month; Christmas and New Year

Roomy, well equipped, dedicated parking; marvellous view from balcony. Good location near shops, station, ferry and beach. (Do try the ferry to Bundeena for a quiet family beach). Richard the host very efficient and friendly.

Memory lane

The property is in an ideal spot, being close to ferry, train and beach. It is three doors from the primary school I went to from 1956/59. Everything is there and my family and I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you.

We would be happy to stay there again

We were fortunate to stay at Deeban Walk Cronulla while we were transitioning between house moves. From the moment that we met the owner, Richard, we new that our stay was going to be a good one. The unit looks out across Burraneer bay and is spacious and well appointed, it has everything you need for a short or longer stay. Many a glass of wine was had on the balcony while watching life slip by around us (real reality T.V). The unit is situated a leisurely 10min to the major shops and 15 min to the beach. We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it. In addition, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean and modern, and the kitchen had a stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. All very comfortable. We would be happy to stay there again

The perfect place

My husband, adult daughter and I had a wonderful time in Cronulla and this apartment was a welcoming home away from home. It offered and supplied everything you could need or want. The location is amazing…close to everything (shops, transportation, beach, eateries). Richard was an amazing host. There was a welcoming text message the day we arrived and when we had a plumbing issue, Richard had it taken care of the same day! We all completely loved our stay and hope others take the opportunity to enjoy this apartment too. Thanks, Richard!

Exceptional property

My family stayed at Richards property recently and I can only say that we were so lucky that we found it. We are a local family and needed alternate accommodation whilst some work was being done out our home. The location is first class with outstanding views over Gunnamatta Bay and is just a short walk to the Cronulla shopping area. With my son and I working from home, there was more than adequate space to allow us to do so, with 2 work desks being available for use. In terms of utilities , everything was provided for which meant we were able to live as we would at home. The renovations that have been completed recently are of a very high quality and well thought out. We would have no hesitation in staying at Richards property again in the future and would highly recommend it for your next visit to the area.

Perfect location

we have really enjoyed our extended stay at this property. The host - Richard - could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The location is stellar. Loved watching the dogs play each morning and afternoon over the oval and the pelicans managing the bay. Short walk to everything in Cronulla - very convenient. Great layout for the unit - with everything we needed for our stay. Can't recommend highly enough!

Great apartment in a beautiful location

From the moment you walk into the apartment with it’s spectacular views across Gunnamatta Bay you feel relaxed and ready to enjoy a wonderful holiday. The apartment was spacious easily coping with our family of 4 adults. Location great easy walking distance to Cronulla. Richard was a great host and the 2 bottles of wine that he greeted us with was a lovely unexpected touch. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view and property!

We loved our time at Richard’s place! The view is stunning, the apartment is in a secluded area as stated and it was truly a very short walk to everything. Awesome apartment, view, area and truly excellent host!

Everything about this stay was top of the line. The view is fantastic from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom. There is a lot of natural light and all the rooms have wonderful room darkening shades. The furniture was extra comfortable especially the king sized master bed. All the dishes, soaps, sugars etc. one could need for a long term stay. The appliances were quiet and efficient and we enjoyed the surround sound with our bottle of wine and nightly view of the bays coming and goings. We loved that the park, train, ferry, restaurants and beach were all within a 2-5 min walk and Cronulla center, ocean beaches an esplanade 5-10 min walk. Richard the host was the ultimate in consideration in all areas, communication, check in (early no less) leaving extra goodies wine, snacks, shampoos. Then went above and beyond to get our money refunded to us when we had to leave early due to the Covid Virus. We've travel the world for work and play and this home and the host are superb. We plan to come back and we highly recommend!
