The Space:

An upstairs Legacy Villas studio with a king bed, mini-bar, fireplace, full bathroom and private balcony provides a comfortable, tranquil setting for your next stay in La Quinta. The bedroom overlooks a community fountain with views of the Santa Rosa and Chocolate Mountains. The bedroom provides ample living space with a closet, desk and chest of drawers. The mini-bar contains a mini-refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Disposable utensils and dishware are located in a cabinet above the mini-bar. The bathroom has a shower and a separate soaking tub with a full set of linens for use during your stay. The condo is located near the back of the Legacy Villas community with ample off-street parking directly in front of the entrance. The condo is a short-walk to the community fitness center, clubhouse, Legacy Grille and community pool and spa. The unit can be combined with LV204 (Upstairs Two Bedroom Villas with a Private Balcony) to create a 3 bedroom villa with 2 master suites (subject to availability).



The Neighborhood:

The vacation villa is located at Legacy Villas in La Quinta. Legacy Villas is a community of 280 resort condominiums and townhomes. The community is nestled in a mountain cove on the western side of La Quinta with views of the Santa Rosa and Chocolate mountains throughout the property. Enjoy 12 saltwater pools and hot tubs, a fitness center and a community clubhouse and barbeque. Legacy Villas is a gated community with 24 hour manned security. The community is a 5-10 minute walk to La Quinta Resort and only a short drive from Old Town La Quinta, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, the Indio Polo Grounds and numerous other desert attractions.



La Quinta is home to over 30 public and private golf courses. The PGA Tour's Humana Challenge is hosted at several of the city's courses each January. The BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament is hosted at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden every March; only a 10-15 minute drive from a majority of our properties in the city. Don't forget the Riverside County Fair and Date Festival in February, La Quinta Arts Festival in March and the Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals in April. The Coachella Valley is a wonderful destination for outdoor adventure in all seasons. This vacation villa is the perfect place for your next visit to the California desert!

Perfect spot for a horse show stay

Although the carpet and the decor are a bit dated the setting and the unit are so great for an adult or two and a pet. The view of the hills during the day is amazing. I will be back!

What a great place to stay!

My pooch and I stayed for 4 nights and genuinely enjoyed our visit. The unit is comfortable and the resort amenities are wonderful. The unit is connected to another larger unit that can accommodate a family, so it can get a little noisy if there are young kids staying there. All in all, though, i would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful with Incredible View!

This unit was pretty much perfect. The view from the balcony is amazing - I was right at the base of the hills. Awesome! The unit was quiet, clean and just as pictured. It’s a 2 minute walk from two different pools. The pool was quiet, clean and had good shade. I really enjoyed my stay and love this resort property. It is a hidden gem!

Perfect for a single or couple. The studio was immaculate, and the unit had a nice view from the balcony. The condo complex is beautifully landscaped and well run. Perfect for a couple!

Easy parking, nice balcony, very quiet. Only issue was checking in and getting into room. I never received email with code to enter. Waited 30min on phone to confirm! Thought we had access to La Quinta resort pools also next door but we did not. Overall, nice place and comfy bed and tub!

Attending wedding in La Quinta

This property was just what we needed. The overall location is very nice and the building easy to find. Room was quiet and had nice touches like paper plates, spoons and cups for our dinner to go. We had a nice meal on the balcony. Only challenge was finding the exact room. The numbers are not on the door so we tried getting into the wrong room! The person was very understanding, but we felt awful. Check in and out was very easy and automated. Would stay here again. Thanks!

Beautiful grounds

We loved the grounds and the pools but the unit was not clean. We had to have housekeeping come in as soon as we arrived as the shower was so dirty I wouldn't get into it. We appreciate that it is a dog friendly unit, but it did not smell great and the carpet was stained. I wonder if the unit owners have seen in lately. We would stay here again but in another unit.

This quiet studio is a sweet little space with a lovely view of the Santa Rosa mountains. The Legacy Villas property is beautifully maintained. I gave the poor cleanliness rating due to the filthy carpet. It needs to be deep cleaned (at a minimum) and probably replaced....yes, it's that bad. I would stay at this property again if the carpet issue is resolved.

Lovely retreat space!

This is my second time back at this particular unit. I love the private balcony with a view of the hills. It’s just beautiful. Only drawback ( and it’s a small one) they still haven’t fixed the outside light on the balcony. It didn’t work in August 2021 and still doesn’t work in December 2021. They updated the A/C unit, so I’m so confused as to why they keep missing the outside light. Come on guys, the unit would be perfect if that could get fixed . Other than that, another great retreat getaway in the record books!

The condo itself was very good. Bed was comfortable, views was very good, pools were outstanding, parking was abundant and given it ws gated with a 24/7 guard it gave us a sense of security. When we return to the area we will definitely rent here again -- quite frankly my wife and I are actually thinking of buying in, if there is something available. My one and only negative comment is the TV. It was exceptionally difficult to figure out how to use the remotes and without a guide we had a terrible time knowing how to use them. After some frustrating amount of time and a lot of cursing we were able to figure out what remote did what and at least a few channels we liked to watch.

The guard at the entrance was very rude! And the contact phone number to resolve issues, were very slow to respond and to act on giving me solutions . I, actually ask to be refunded for the last day, because I, was very unhappy. I, didn’t hear from them I, was so upset I, left a day early. I, will summarize everything and write it on YELP.

Very clean, easy to walk around, pools and spas the best. Had one problem checking in . The front gate did not have our reservation. Had to call the hoist to send the info over . About an hour later we got in.

We enjoyed our stay! The location of the property is amazing. The development is beautiful, but the actual unit is very dated and needs to be remodeled. It wouldn’t take much! It was priced well and possibly that’s the reason why.

Nestled so close to the mountains, the building and grounds were impeccably kept. Peaceful and relaxing, the Villas are a quick drive to a beautifully maintained walking trail. This particular unit was comfortable with a great balcony and spacious bathroom. However, the furniture looks a bit worn and chipped in places. It could use some TLC. We will certainly return to Legacy Villas!
