We really enjoyed our stay. There’s so much to do in the area and the property was so peaceful. It’s a great spot to relax. It was clean and very well stocked.
Peaceful, very clean, and nice property! Could use a few coat/purse/bag hooks and maybe a bench by the main entrance and a few towel hooks in the bathrooms. Otherwise, very well thought out rental.
My family, 4 adults, 4 kids (ages 3-7) and 2 dogs throughly enjoyed our stay for a long weekend! We enjoyed making camp fires every night, nature hikes and cool hanging bridges, we tried fishing, and the dogs had a blast running around the property. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We hope to come back!
Clean property. Plenty of amenities. Newer house, well designed.

I am sorry the river water was low. This is beyond my control, the entire region has been in a moderate drought for weeks.
This is our second year booking. This year we stayed a full week. We did lots of swimming, played games with the family on the rainy days. The property is clean and very private. Communication was great when needed.
This cabin was exactly what we needed for a girls getaway. Spacious on the inside and outside. Huge deck with plenty of room to sit outside. Enough land to go on an adventure. Kitchen stocked with pretty much everything you need. Hot water...amazing. Area is secluded and no one to bother you. Would definitely come back if it was closer.
Very much enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was at the bungalow! Enjoyed sitting on the porch. A great get away! Thank you Jason for sharing your home.
Nice and secluded. Beautiful setting on the river. Everything in the house was clean and nice and functioned properly. Would definitely consider staying here again if we come back to this area.
Just a beautiful place! Clean and well stocked home right next to the river. Plenty of water craft available and had everything we needed. Great location- within an hours drive to many tourist spots. Highly recommend!!
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the
River home and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. We look forward to coming back and creating some more wonderful memories on the river.. in addition, Jason was great as a host and was quick to respond to any questions that we had.
The river was incredible, so peaceful. The home was convenient to hiking trails, RR excursion and the dinner theater. Kitchen had all of our needs, beds were comfortable, really good TV reception and internet connection for such a remote location! I highly recommend this home!
Relaxation, seeing family, forest festival, and running a marathon.

I am a north central West Virginia native who has lived in Elkins most of my life. I have skied, hunted, fished, hiked, explored, and most of all played in these mountains since I was a small child. I'm here to help you with tips, suggestions, and anything else you need to ensure your visit is memorable. I designed this house myself and with the help of a few good friends we built it together.
