4035R Marina Mansion

We cannot wait to share this home with you so you can see what we are so excited about. Elegant and comfortable, a vacation in this home is sure to leave you refreshed. This property is located in the marina and has a private dock. At approximately 4,104 square feet, it is our largest boat dock home. It was built in 1980 but redone in 2015 so it has all of the modern day luxuries you and your family could want! Upon entry of the front gate, you have a direct pathway to the dock and a spacious deck, the perfect place to spend summer days. Take a tour of the marina with the kayaks or go fishing off the dock! The first level of the property features a laundry room, half bath, formal dining area, informal dining area, kitchen, and a super comfy living space. The kitchen has plenty of cooking space and features stainless steel appliances and beautiful wood cabinetry. The kitchen is also fairly open, making it easy for everyone doing the cooking to stay a part of the party! The living room features a large and comfy couch, huge flat screen TV, a piano, and a gorgeous brick fireplace; there is no better place to retire to after a fun filled day on the water. On the second floor you will find four bedrooms. To the right, you will find the master suite which features a king bed, private balcony overlooking the water, private brick fireplace, flat screen TV, and a beautiful master bath. The master bath features his and her sinks, a large walk in closet, a Jacuzzi tub, and a large shower. Two more bedrooms on this level feature queen beds, while the last room features a trundle bed with two twins(kids room) and lots of toys for the kiddos! There is a full bath on this level featuring a shower/tub combo and his and her sinks. Last but not least on this level is the sauna! The third level of this property is the loft, featuring two full beds, a bunk bed featuring two twins, and a big cozy couch! With a 45 foot boat dock, this property is situated right on the water for all kinds of water sports! It is also only a 1/2 mile away from the sandy beaches of Oxnard for your surfing and beach-going escapades! Reserve your stay today!

Fabulous Family Fun

Gorgeous setting with such a spacious house and deck! We loved the dock and kayaks and paddle boards. Our family from age 6 to 71 enjoyed the entire experience.

House on the canal

We had a party of 10 that the house accommodated very well. The location is perfect. It is a quiet location in the canal with paddle boarding and kayaks at your disposal. The beach is beautiful and an easy quick drive . We had two complications with the water heater and sewer but were addressed quickly by the property management.

What an awesome house!!! We had a wonderful time!! The kids loved it and my son who has a boat was so grateful for the boat dock!! It was clean and the kitchen was perfect. It allowed the person cooking to be apart for cooking purposes and still be included in all the activities. Thank you so much we will be back!!!

Excellent layout for our family of 10 mostly adults. The living space could easily accommodate all. Two large tables for eating. Nice outdoor area. Umbrellas were adjustable for the sun. Good amount of sport equipment. There was an outdoor grill not listed.

This a great place for family fun, with kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, and there is a great paddle board tennis court close by, my kids had a great competition there this last weekend. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with all the things you need to make wonderful meals. We had a great weekend!

Wonderful vacation

It’s in an ideal location in the Channel Islands marina with beautiful views; we ate dinner outside on the large deck every night. The house was spotless, easy to care for, comfortable and quiet. The kids loved all the water toys: paddle boards and kayaks; they spent every morning paddling around the marina. Afternoons were at the beach which is only five minutes away. The house is near restaurants, supermarkets, banks - but also in a peaceful world of its own. We’re looking forward to another stay next summer.

The use of parking the car in the garage was great! The neighborhood was quite. We enjoyed watching the boats go by and the family loved all the wate toys! We will always hold special memories staying in this house. The only suggestion we have was getting a new grill, the grill cooked so slow it took forever, so we opt not to use it anymore. We loved this house and my family loved it!

Like before, the only thing that could have made it better would be another full bath but didn’t stop us from returning. We took advantage of the kayaks and SUP’s everyday- so nice having them available. The outdoor deck was awesome! If we had any questions, Caitlin was just a text or email away. So easy! Thank you for another lovely getaway. We definitely needed it!

Lots of beds, a large couch, and a huge tv in the loft. One more bathroom would have been ideal but we made it work. We spent most of the time outside on the good sized deck and took turns on the kayaks and SUP’s. So fun! The fireplace inside came in handy when the weather got cooler. The Sunday farmers market is close and perfect to ride your bike to. Everyone had a wonderful time and we can’t wait to go back!

Huge home you’ll never want to leave

This home was bigger than the pictures appeared. There were 14 of us and never once in each other’s way. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and grilled pizza on the bbq on the back deck overlooking the water. Waving at locals as they boated or paddled by. We had the most wonderful and relaxing time and can’t wait to visit again. There are 3 stories. Have I mentioned this house is huge? We kayaked and paddle boarded. You will not regret staying here. Trust me.

The house comes with kayaks and paddleboards which we rode to the marina. It also has bikes which we drove to the beach. The kitchen was very nice and we loved the 6 burner gas stove and the view! The deck was probably where we spent the most time because the weather was perfect - whether it was for a morning cup of coffee, to check emails on the computer, have a meal, or to just enjoy the view or the sunset. The rental company was excellent to work with and very prompt when we had a question. We will definitely return!

A Great Graduation Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental is ideally placed on one of the waterways in Oxnard. The house is spacious and has plenty of room for a party of up to 10 people. There were a couple of things that were broken when we arrived (cabinet door, lights not working, dents on the fridge and a few others), however, after contacting the agent, they acknowledged the items so I could relax and enjoy my daughters graduation weekend. The location is ideal for sunset cocktails and appetizers on the back deck, a great place to launch a canoe or paddle board, or just sit and read a book and watch the boats and water taxis go by. The large family room lends itself to a great family gathering for a movie night on the huge TV, or watch a sporting event. We would highly recommend this house and the agents for the ease of checking in, the amazing house and the wonderful location (central to shops, restaurants, and the beach).

Pictures don't do justice!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Marina Mansion is bigger, roomier, brighter and nicer than expected. Everything was in a good working condition, except the sink in the half bath which needed a quick attention, i.e. faucet dripping and stopper reinstalled. Hence, 4 stats on the property's general condition. The cleaning crew did an amazing job considering the size of the property and the time allowed. Remax communications and instructions, including e-mails and in-house instructions, were very well communicated. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend, but I would warn them that there's only one full bathroom to share for people in the loft and Bedrooms 2-4. Even though they can use the master bathroom, it was an inconvenient at night. We also thought that the towels can be upgraded. They are below standard considering how gorgeous this property is! The young adults definitely enjoyed the Kayaks and paddle boards made available at the property. We didn't visit any restaurants, but bbq'd Costco steaks on the dock! Also, some of us walked to the beach and saw about 50 sea lions sunbathing; that was a treat!
