Host and staff were excellent. The home itself is open to the surroundings, as is indicated in the listing. This results in droppings and urine from rats, etc on the furniture. Ants and insects not really a big problem.

Very cozy place

Just a short 5 minute drive from the city centre in a quiet area. Very lovely. The swing upstairs is a great place to meditate. I really loved it here.

Great place for our large family

We loved staying here - very friendly and helpful staff. Great for our big family. Worth being out of town as you get to relax fully in your own space at home. No negatives from our view.

Family reunion

The house was great for a family reunion. Lots of spaces to gather in both large and small groups. Staff were very accommodating. A bit out of the center of things which required use of taxis to get most places. Only two suggestions for improvement -- fans in the meeting room would be appreciated and a microwave, if possible. Overall, highly recommended.

Just lovely

What a beautiful place to stay! My guests and I loved the open-air style of the house, the private pool, the luxurious bedrooms, all of it. The staff managed our breakfasts, helped us arrange drivers, and even set up dinner and massages in the house. Really a delightful stay, looking forward to returning with my next group!

Why they chose this property

Back in 2014 I decided to move to Bali for my sons education at Greenschool. Once we arrived on this magical island we were instantly greeted with the kindness and purity of the balinese culture.
Knowing that my son instantly made friends and loved Bali I had to think of a new way of income. That's when my love for design came into play. I had fun going around looking at the different types of villas in the Ubud area and fell upon a haven called Katie Lantang.
I then met Gede a driver at the time who showed my his families land that attracted me. I then decided to lease the land and start building Villa inspirit. Ever since I have felt welcome in this neighborhood and so has my son by making friends with the locals.
We now have a family hangout cafe just 40 meters from our house where your kids can play at an indoor park or with a spiraling water slide. there are also a few restaurants in proximity to our house. The infamous Monkey forest is a 15 minute drive by car from out house and Ubud center is the same depending on traffic.
We wish you to enjoy our peaceful neighborhood as much as my family has. See you soon.

What makes this property unique

Back in 2014 I decided to start renting big villas for families and or retreats that want to enjoy Ubud in the middle of rice fields. Hence started the idea for a big 5 bedroom villa.
Villa inspirit comprises of 5 bedrooms ready to accommodate a maximum of 16 people. On the main floor you'll find our semi open kitchen equipped with the amenities required to cook meals, a large dining table, two big sofas that look out to our swing, the pool is also located on the main area. 4 out of five bedrooms are downstairs and are ready to be changed from double to two singles if requested. The third floor was designed for a panoramic view of the rice fields whilst doing morning yoga or to just enjoy the view. There is two sofas on the third floor to enjoy the view.
The villa is ready to host your family and friends here in Ubud. We hope to see you soon.
