A quintessential kiwi bach and just 10 seconds to the beach. The bach is a good proximity to many local sites, walks and amenities. The host was available via message and responded when messaged. Quaint, cosy and funky!

Hi Tania! Thank you for your nice review. I was wondering what kept you from giving a 5* review? Knowing what I could have done better may help improve the property & guest experience. Thank you! Laura
We had a lovely stay at the Bach. The kitchen was well equipped and there were heaters, towels, fresh linen etc. the house was so nostalgic and lovely. Definitely recommend if you’re going to see pancake rocks.
We had a fantastic weekend away at this gorgeous wee Bach. Such a stunning spot, plenty around the area to explore and the house is the perfect we base to relax between adventures. It had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!
Absolutely fantastic location, easy walk to the tavern, the beach and the pancake rocks. A very idylic and quiant little bach with a whole lot of history very warm and welcoming.
We loved staying in this historic bach right on the water. It had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. We had a great time checking out the Paparoa track, fishing the Fox and Pororari rivers and exploring nearby caves. Would definitely come back for another weekend away!
Thank you, we had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The bach was bright, cheery and warm, and had so much character. The setting is stunning, with limestone cliffs, the roaring sea and nikau groves. My favourite room was the sitting room with its funky retro vibe and the comfy sofa. We spent many hours there.
We jad a great stay warm comfortable and very quirky! Great collections of vintage kiwiana. Very clean with everything you need for a comfortable enjoyable stay and brilliant to be able to have our spoodle boy accommodated. Highly recommend!
We had the best weekend staying at this delightful wee bach. It had everything you could possibly need and in such a beautiful location. Laying in bed at night and listening to the waves crashing just outside was so relaxing. We will be back!!

This was a great place to stay following finishing the Paparoa track. It was just as the photos showed, lots of great character in a beautiful part of the country.
We would stay here again. Thanks so much.
Great bach. Very nostalgic. Location is excellent. It's a bach so not fancy but is clean, well equipped and so cool how it is tucked between the beach and the enormous cliffs behind it. The pancake rocks are minutes away, the rivers and beach are amazing, and the Punakaiki pub and garden bar are great for a cold beer and something to eat.
This was such an amazing location to stay in. Such history in this property and beautifully decorated to reflect that history. I wish we had more time to spend here.
