Holiday winner

We had the best 3 nights here with 2 surfing families. The location is epic, Graham Colyer drive has two public cut throughs which made the property super accessible to the beach and the shops on foot, skateboards or bikes. It’s far enough out of the hub that it provides a relaxed and peaceful retreat to return to after a day at the main beach. We utilised the track through Sandcastle’s Resort to access the beach for early morning surfs. The house itself has a relaxed beach vibe and quirky charm. Unfortunately linen was not supplied which was the only down side. We took two dogs and unfortunately there are gaps under the front fences and our small dog got out one morning but was returned by a friendly local. We loved the front deck and spent most of our time at the house relaxing on it. Would absolutely book this house again.

House was good. As described. Things to think about. Loft is a short person only room. Also has skylights above it so need to have an early riser up stairs as the sun beams thru from sunrise. I would recommend avoiding using the loft. Similar with main room only having Venetian blinds. Sun beams thru early. Yard is not currently secure for keeping a dog in, due to the large tracks created under the gate which serves as a driveway. Our Labrador got under the gate with ease. No dryer in laundry. Easy walk to beach and shops.

Little beach house in perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect walking distance to the beach and the shops meaning we hardly had to drive anywhere! The house was small and cosy, air conditionar helped during the warmer parts of the day, the deck was sooo nice to lounge on and the facilities made it a rally nice stay. There were always lots of kids playing in the street and the backpackers is only 2 doors down but there were no noise issues outside of what is normal for a bustling suburban street. Great kitchen facilities too!

Idle Dayz holiday house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and tidy, a short walk to the beach and pretty much everything we needed was supplied although we found it a bit inconvenient that with a booking for 8 people to only have 6 forks and had to go and buy some. Other than that everything was perfect. We would definitely would rent this property again.

Great spot handy ti the shops & beach and boat ramp.

Reassembly fisherman friendly front driveway gate a bit tight for a trailer but does fit, you will need to bring a freezer if you plan on getting some fish fillets our 6th person with us slept in his boat but great place over all will do it again,

Best Holiday in a long time

The property was perfectly suited for our group. 10min walk from the beach, shops just around the corner (didn't use the car once, other than to go to 1770) and being in a closed court area it was easy to keep an eye on traffic for the kids to ride their skateboards around too. Honestly the perfect holiday and we have already booked for next Easter at the same property

I couldn't be happier with my stay at Idle Daze. The house and property was clean and tidy and being pet friendly it was perfect for my Shih Tzu. The description of the property is accurate and exactly what you get. I'd definitely look up this property again if I'm back in the area.
