Summary:
Merindah is a spacious holiday home located in the serene and sunny Agnes Water, recently renovated by its proud owner. The rejuvenated interior promises a delightful stay, guests are welcome to bring up to two pets along to share in the vacation experience at Merindah, a fee of $100 per pet per stay applies.
The Space:
Merindah boasts a master queen bedroom alongside a second bedroom furnished with a set of holiday bunk beds, featuring a double on the bottom and a single on top, and a third bedroom equipped with two single beds.
A spacious bathroom offers both a separate bath and shower, with an additional toilet room.
The open-plan layout includes a full kitchen and dining area, seamlessly connecting to the front and side decks for a harmonious indoor-outdoor living experience.
Air conditioning is available in the lounge area, complemented by ceiling fans throughout.
For added convenience, a self-contained granny flat downstairs features a queen bed, TV, dining table, microwave, crockery, and eating utensils, along with a shower, toilet, laundry facilities, and a second fridge/freezer.
Two undercover carports ensure ample parking space, while a wrap-around deck with BBQ facilities and outdoor seating encourages relaxation and social gatherings.
Wi-Fi is available, though it's important to note that Vodafone coverage may be unavailable in the area, and other mobile networks can be limited or patchy in Agnes Water & 1770.
Given the property's location amidst natural surroundings, guests may encounter various wildlife, including bugs, lizards, frogs, and birds, which may occasionally visit the verandah and garden areas.

The Neighborhood:
The area is surrounded by National Parks, pristine waterways and long stretches of unspoiled beaches which front onto the Coral Sea.
Along the headlands of Seventeen Seventy visitors are offered amazing panoramic views across Bustard Bay, the estuary & creeks.
We enjoy an excellent year-round climate with Queensland’s northernmost surf beach at Agnes Water for surfing and beach activities. A
long the Bay at 1770 you can walk along the parklands and enjoy kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding.
It is a short walk to the variety of cafes & boutique shops in the Agnes Water shopping Village or walk down to the beautiful Agnes Water surf beach for a leisurely day along the water.
A vibrant market takes places between Agnes Water & 1770 every second Sunday morning.
Getting Around:
We recommend guests have a vehicle to travel around the area.
There is a shuttle bus that can offer tours, pick up/drop off services from your accommodation, the train station or airport. Please get in touch for more information.
There is a tourism information centre in Agnes Water.
Nearest airports: Gladstone and Bundaberg - 75 kilometres.
Nearest train stop: Miriam Vale - 50 kilometres.
Bus: Greyhound travels to the area daily.
The bus stop is at the Ampol service station in Agnes Water, approx. 2 kilometres away.
Please note that Vodafone does not operate in this area.

Merindah is situated within walking distance to the pristine five kilometre Agnes Water Surf Beach, shopping precinct, cafes & restaurants.
A 6 minute drive to the beautiful and historic town of 1770, the birthplace of Queensland where Captain Cook landed all those years ago.
