COMFORTABLE & SPACIOUS INTERIOR
This home boasts a modern and bright décor throughout. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with a convection stove, double oven, warming drawer and wine fridge, and everything you'll need to comfortably prepare meals. For formal group dinners, gather your group around the dining table for a good meal and good conversation. The family room living area overlooks the pool and backyard and features plush leather seating for gathering to watch Netflix, Prime or YouTubeTV. There is a formal living area as well, with large windows which frame huge oak tress and provide a beautiful space for conversation or quiet reading.

All our bathrooms are well-stocked with plush towels and toiletries. Pool towels are also available.

SURVEILLANCE DEVICES:
For safety reasons, outdoor cameras are installed at the entrances and back patio. Additionally, a noise decibel monitoring system is in place to maintain a peaceful environment during quiet hours

We had a lovely time at the house in Tarrytown. Peaceful setting, well-appointed home, and that outdoor space...amazing! My only comment is that the pool is cold. That wasn’t specified in the ad, and it was pretty disappointing. The kids didn’t care, but the adults couldn’t go near it. If it had been warm, I would have given 5 stars. Really great time!

The Right Place

We had several friends stay with us at different times. Everyone liked the house, patio & pool. Very nice to have a heavily treed lot behind the house to add to the ambiance & privacy. Clean, comfortable & great for entertaining. There are signs to be quiet after 10 pm on the pastor which was difficult to know exactly how quiet you had to be. But we were on the patio several evenings without any issues. Darlene was quick to respond to any & all questions.

Perfect Getaway

This Austin chateau is the perfect blend of charming and modern—top notch! It is nestled in a quiet, woodsy neighborhood, still super close to a quick drive into the hustle and bustle of downtown. The outstanding reviews and gorgeous pictures are spot on! Darlene is an incredible host—I was with my extended family (with our niece and nephew), and everyone was over the moon noshing on the yummy cookies that Darlene provided as a check-in welcome. Darlene also provides a binder at the house to help orient guests. We decided to take her advice and “live like a local.” We ran to Whole Foods, picked up groceries, and made a home cooked meal (eating outside on the fabulous patio, warming up by the fireplace). The house is perfectly aged with character and has all of the modern upgrades/conveniences (streaming TV, google home, etc). Highly recommend!

I had to book this house in a hurry and the host did an amazing job helping me get everything reserved quickly. She was so nice and helpful throughout the booking process, and during our stay at the house. I highly recommend this place to anyone! The house is so cool and the pool and patio area is beautiful. She even sent us a gift on our last night as a surprise. The location of the house is perfect being by Lake Austin and we had an amazing time!

Wonderful bridal bash weekend!

Everything about this stay was perfect! I was celebrating my bridal bash and Darlene and her beautiful property made it perfect. She was super great at communicating and very kind—she even sent us Tiff’s! The house itself is perfect: cute, cozy, charming. It is so nice without being pretentious and was the perfect spot for a girls weekend. The patio and pool was so nice, the family room was a great movie spot, and the kitchen had everything we could need—bonus points for it all being super cute and stylish. All in all, we loved our stay here and I hope to come back!

Outstanding outdoor area and close to town

This was a lovely property to stay at. Very clean and easy to relax in. The outdoor patio and pool were wonderful and we enjoyed being so close to downtown Austin. Excellent experience. Quiet neighborhood, with leafy green trees and lovely hills to walk through. Close to the lake and several excellent restaurants. It manages to be comfy and luxurious at the same time.

Best vacation home!!!

We had such a wonderful experience with this property. The house is perfect for groups of people in Austin. It is a 10 minute Uber to downtown. The pool, patio and grill area are all well kept and perfect for a weekend or relaxation. Darlene was so helpful and left us cookies and allowed us to come early and leave late. Overall this was the best rental experience I’ve ever had. Would recommend!!!!

Wonderful house; great location

This was a terrific house in an upscale, quiet neighborhood. Everywhere we wanted to go in Austin was within a 15-20 minute drive. 4 bedrooms are clustered together on one side of the house (including one of the master suites), and the other two bedrooms are on the other side of the house (including the master suite on the second floor), which worked out very nicely for the way we separated our family. Google Home was super fun and efficient - the living room TV even had HBO so we didn't miss the premiere of the last season of Game of Thrones (very critical of course). The outside area was great - I loved being in the shaded outdoor living room while the kids were in the pool. The only potentially negative thing I can think about was that the pool was quite cold (at least in April) - a pool heater would make this place truly perfect, but not sure if that kind of thing happens in Austin. I'll also note that I'm a mosquito magnet but didn't get a single bite - the house seems to have some kind of mosquito killing system outside.

The Perfect Austin Experience

This house is the perfect Austin experience. The Tarrytown neighborhood is a quiet, hilly, and tree lined giving the home a relaxed feel while still within 15 minutes of everything Austin has to offer. The outdoor space is phenomenal - dining/living room with a large flatscreen and ample seating for our entire large group (9 adults) perched steps above the pool deck. We enjoyed 2 dinners on the patio. The photo's do not do the backyard and outdoor space justice. It feels much roomier once you see it in-person. Bedrooms and interior space were excellent. Everything was impeccably clean. And each bedroom is spacious enough to sleep a couple. All of our guests raved about the house. The host Darlene was accommodating throughout the booking process and checked-in to see how we were doing mid-weekend. Start-to-finish this was my best home rental experience to date.

Amazing house in a great location

The house worked out great for our group visiting for ACL. Everyone thought it was nicer than the pictures. We all loved the layout and the outdoor living area is top notch. It really makes the house. The house is located in a very nice neighborhood and not far from the grocery store or any other things we needed. I don't think there is really anything about the house that we didn't like.

This house fit our needs perfectly - really nice interior, great outside spaces, and plenty of bedrooms. The was only one exception - the house only has 2.5 baths (vs 6 bedrooms). It wasn't a deal breaker, but we did have to coordinate bathroom usage for our larger group. Otherwise everything was great. Highly recommended as long as you realize bathrooms are limited.

Stunning Austin contemporary, Superb location!

This is a gorgeous property, nestled in the trees with a greenbelt behind yet plenty of sun for pool loungers. Secluded yet conveniently located to downtown Austin area attractions. This home is beautifully appointed and very comfortable with ample bedrooms to accommodate a large group. The dining, kitchen and family rooms flow together creating an open space for gathering, while the bedrooms offer privacy. This home was perfect for our girl's trip getaway with plenty of bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and outdoor living around the pool. Very luxurious - we enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Having a pool in Austin in July is a must (100 degrees each day). The back yard is very private and the covered patio was a lot of fun. Inside, the house is set up perfectly for 4-5 couples or a large family. Plenty of space and large bedrooms. Our only complaints were the lack of basic toiletries and poor customer service. We called the customer service line to ask about getting more soap and toilet paper and they were very rude. We ended up buying our own. Not what we expected. 1 hand soap for 3 bathrooms and a kitchen is not enough.

Beautiful house in a great area near Lakr Austin

We really enjoyed our stay in Tarrytown at this amazing property in Austin! Everything in the house was perfect and clean and the outdoor area and pool were fantastic. The light fixtures were a bit odd, and were difficult to control on your own as I believe they were through a timer (which also would dim after 10pm and not turn back on...). We never were able to figure out the bistro lights in the backyard which was a shame as they were really cute. My one gripe was the lack of early check-in and late check out, although I contacted Turnkey weeks leading up to my stay asking to accommodate a 1pm check-in on Friday. I was not told until 12pm on Friday that we would only get the regular 3pm check-in which was a bit aggravating as we had people driving in who had to wait. Check out was also 10am (earliest I’ve ever experienced) and the cleaning crew actually arrived at 945am while we were heading out. Seems it would be a better use of the cleaning crew’s time and more customer-friendly to extend a later checkout to those requesting it on a Monday morning. All in all though, it was a great stay and we would come back.
