About this property

North Haven Sea Breeze - walk to beach and breakwall

Comfortable air conditioned 3 bedroom cottage not far from North Haven beach and breakwall. Timber flooring throughout, the house is baby-stroller and walker friendly with easy decking ramp access to the large level fenced yard with Gas BBQ. Bring the bikes, the surfboards and the fishing rods.

1 Queen, 1 Double, 2 Singles in kids TV/Play room. Shower over small bath, and a second shower & toilet in the laundry. The shower will cater for a shower chair and has grab rails if needed (not supplied). Microwave, Auto Washing machine, Electric stove. 2 TV/DVD, Radio. Gas BBQ (2 bottles supplied). The small detached garage is suitable for storage and there is plenty of parking for 2 cars and the boat. Wifi available.

Our stay in this property with our puppies was our first holiday with our 2 mini Dachshunds. They enjoyed the dog friendly beach that was close by and number 9 was fenced in a quiet street. Loved our stay and will book again.

Filthy and everything broken

Have to leave 1 star or else would leave no star. Place was filthy and hadn't been cleaned from previous occupants. Had to call agent and they got a cleaner out. Even after she cleaned was still filthy. My sister spent half her time on the stay cleaning. Found bottles near and under bed. Hairs all through bathroom and drawers, food all through microwave. Toilet when arrived had been used and not flushed (stank). Dryer not working( all time there rained and really needed a dryer) When washed tried to hang clothes on line and the cording just gave way all clothes ended up on ground. We brought all these home dirty and wet. BBQ area filthy, my sister and I cleaned it, not for BBQ use as we could only imagine that was dirty, so we could at least go outside and walk past BBQ as near back door. My sister said we have left that place like it now should be to welcome guests. Never again will we use Stayz as if you list these properties on your site, you have to take part of responsibility on listing such a place at the well overpriced amount for such a dity unkept place.

Family visit

It was a great stay with everything available in the area, coffee and cafés. Very close to the beach and surf club. The pictures of the property and the current ones had several years from taking of the pictures and current date. Property is a bit weathered but clean and tidy. LJ Hooker staff were great.

The property wasn’t ready.

The agent said the property was being painted, no evidence of anything with fresh paint. Also said it would be ready once the cleaners had finished finished obviously they couldn’t find anything to clean the door filthy BBQ, the closed for maintenance should have been to fix the busted kitchen cupboard hinge. Won’t be booking this one again, left it cleaner than it was found.

Enjoyed our stay, simple & honest value accommodation. Walking distance to coffee/takeaway 300m and the club about 1km. Other reviews talking about poor mobile reception, absolutely true. Need to stand on the front porch for a conversation, for data it's a slow connection. Obviously not the fault of the accommodation.

I have stayed here three times now and there will be a fourth and a fifth. Great position, only two blocks to the beach. My only criticism which could also be seen as an asset, it’s a black spot for 4G and there is no wifi.

Panels missing from front door not a good first impression. Every rug needs to be destroyed, dirty and threadbare. Doesn't look as though it had a dust for long time. Location good for beach. Garden good once lawn had been cut on the day of our departure.
