Not properly prepared for our arrival

The Bahia Vista complex is a great location. Unfortunately this unit was not prepared properly for our arrival, I sent numerous messages to the owner as we got closer to arrival date and became worried as I did not get response. Luckily arrival day on route I was able to finally get in contact with the owner who provided the entry info. The premises was not cleaned and internet was not connected, both of which the owner apologized and offered to get taken care of and provide a discounted refund , we declined the cleaning as my wife and I just bought cleaning materials and a new shower curtain and supplies and tidied up . We spent much of our time by the pool and beach during the day which is amazing.

Almost ideal

Great location. Great neighbors. Very clean inside. One-butt kitchen takes some getting used to. Bedroom fan makes a noise. Upright chairs are developing cracks, so don't lean back. Blinds are old and deteriorating. One blind blade is missing and another that was held up by Scotch Tape fell off. We replaced the cartridge on the faucet that leaked the most. We glued in place the wobbly faucets in the small bathroom, but this fix may not last. Other leaks were minor and we did not want to mess with shutoff valves. One vacuum barely works and the other is missing parts. Lots of material was left on shelves, so it was a little cramped., and there is apparently no storage locker. Most importantly, our landlords seem like very nice people.
