Welcome to our Resort. We invite you to kick off your shoes, relax and experience the laid-back charm of Bird Bay. This is our retirement location and until that day comes, enjoy while we plug away at work.
Why they chose this property
Bird Bay Village has activities within the community, pickle ball, tennis, 5 pools, heated pool, fitness center, library and so much more. Easy to get around, stroll through charming Historic Downtown with architecture modeled after Northern Italy. Venice is filled with restaurants as well as cafes, boutiques and gift shops.
What makes this property unique
Venice Florida is known as the Shark Tooth Capital of the world. Comb the beach for fossilized shark teeth. Or linger the South Jetty while watching the sunset. You might catch a glimpse of a jumping dolphin. Continue on to Caspersen, the longest beach in Sarasota County, and Venice Municipal, which has a coral reef a quarter mile off shore.
