Harts Terrace is a tastefully decorated one bedroom condo on the lower level of a private villa. There is a two bedroom vacation rental on the upper floor of this Villa. Both rentals share a common driveway and parking area with separate entrances and complete privacy from each other. It is the perfect cozy apartment set up for a couple and still feel the spacious feeling of being in a villa. The space features an air conditioned large bedroom with King Size Bed, and in suite full bathroom as well as a sitting area to relax and enjoy a movie or sports on TV.

Harts Terrace being nestled up on the hill is the ideal setting for a couples vacation, quietly nestled in to the picturesque hills of Chocolate Hole on the South Shore of this beautiful island. Awaken each morning to the breath-taking views of Harts Bay and St. Croix in the distance.

You will enjoy all paved roads on your way to your vacation villa. Upon coming down the driveway you will experience a home with beautiful landscaping as you find yourself relaxing immediately upon entering the villa. Within walking distance of the Westin Resort, Harts Terrace is less than a two minute drive to the popular village of Cruz Bay, offering many dining and shopping options, places to just sit and relax sip a cocktail and take in the relaxed pace of Island life.

The hillside offers fabulous ocean views to Hart Bay on the covered porch area where you can relax and dine while taking in the ocean breezes. A full separate kitchen is provided for preparing those laid back meals and a gas BBQ on the porch makes steaks and seafood the perfect island treat.

For a couples accommodation you won't find a better fit than Harts Terrace.

Our family lives in Cincinnati, OH and my husband and I traveled to St. John for our honeymoon in 2006. As everyone does, we fell in love as soon as we walked off the ferry. Despite the fact that Delta lost our luggage, we missed our connecting flight and arrived on island way late, we still fell in love! The next day as we were waiting for our luggage, we rented a Jeep and just explored the entire island. We found ourselves visiting multiple times per year from that point forward. Each time we would get a book with the homes for sale and just drive until we found them. We did this for 9 years until finally, for my 40th birthday, my husband surprised me and told me that we were ready to purchase! Since then, we have had many family gatherings and spent many Thanksgivings on island. We have five kids ranging from 8 to 25 and now our older three have their plus ones and we have been lucky enough that they have been able to come celebrate Thanksgiving with us too. Although you may not be able to celebrate Thanksgiving in our home away from home, we hope to be able to host your stay soon!

Why they chose this property

This is an interesting question.....we looked at a lot of villa's on St. John. When I saw this home, the pictures did not do it justice at all. I was convinced that seeing this villa was a complete waste of time. There was another villa in Chocolate Hole that had amazing pictures and I had my heart set on that home. Ironically, we walk through the villa with amazing photos and it was not at all what we were looking for. When I first stepped through the doors to Harts Delight, I immediately felt at home and at peace. The home had been given every bit of love possible from the couple who we purchased it from and I could just feel that love. I made them a promise that our family would love their precious home just as much, if not more than them. We plan on holding up that promise for the rest of our lives.
