About the host
Hosted by Owner/Property Manager
Elizabeth is a Lifestyle Planning Consultant for families with aging parents, and Founder of the Luise Greger Institute for the Advancement of Woman through the Arts on beautiful Whidbey Island.. The Luise Greger Institute supports the Luise Greger International Women in Music Festival, held on Whidbey Island and The Luise Greger International Festival in Kassel Germany. Joe is retired from a 30+ year career as a sales and marketing executive and is very happy selling Gutter Helmut. In his free time he loves to golf.
Why they chose this property
Elizabeth and Joe grew up and went to school in the Seattle area and have relocated from coast to coast several times. When they were able to settle back in the Northwest they chose Mukilteo, with its "old town" charm, lighthouse and easy access to Whidbey Island, Edmonds, Everett and Seattle, as the place they wanted to live. This beautifully tranquil Cape Cod with views of the islands and Mt. Baker on a private natural lot was a unique chance to own a bit of paradise.
What makes this property unique
There is really nothing like this delightful home in the area - so ideally located to the beaches, lighthouse, Paine Field and Boeing, the train, Edmonds, Seattle, Vancouver, the ferry to Whidbey Island and all the outdoor activities of the Northwest - yet a private, peaceful setting in spacious natural beauty with glorious views. Edgewater Cottage would make an excellent artist/writers' retreat.
