The one and two-story Spanish Hacienda-style villas, with sloping red-tiled roofs hanging over whitewashed plaster walls are luxuriously furnished in early California decor, and boast 10ft. ceilings and 1300 square feet of space, providing the getaway seeker plenty of room to stretch out for a day, a week or a month. Wall-mounted flat screen T.V., Kohler fixtures, maple wood cabinetry, dream-sleep mattresses, designer sheets and towels, granite counters and stone tile floors all add to the opulent spa-like ambiance. The fully amenitized chef's kitchen and open floor plan are perfect for entertaining groups, and all balconies and patios feature private electric grills and patio tables to enjoy cooking and dining outdoors.

The living room opens through charming french doors onto a tranquil balcony, where the aromas of surrounding bougainvillea and glowing palm trees complement romantic evenings of al fresco dining or wine tasting under a canopy of stars. The master suite contains an en suite bathroom with deep soaking tub and stall shower with floor to ceiling tile.

Main Renter booking the Villa is responsible for their group, must be 21 or older, and must be occupying the property booked for the entire stay.

House Rules
No smoking; no pets without prior consent of owner. Owner may permit small dogs with a $25/nt. additional pet rent. For April Festivals, all guests must be individually registered with the HOA for access at least four days prior to arrival.

Beautiful place.

A wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle. This place provided such a peaceful atmosphere. I made use of the balcony each morning which provided a beautiful surrounding view with added sound of birds singing, whilst I sip my coffee. Everything needed was provided for my family to relax . We also enjoyed the beautiful pools nearby. If we had a choice to stay here or a hotel, this place is a no brainer. —-grateful.

A wonderful getaway!

This is a lovely place to escape from the city. Our unit was extremely comfortable and perfect for our family, which includes 2 children and a small dog. We found everything we needed to prepare our meals, and appreciated having a washer/dryer to run a load of laundry and a vacuum to keep things tidy. The Legacy Villas grounds are beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed roller blading in the evenings and of course swimming in the many pools!

Mountain Views and a Melodious Fountain

The views of the mountains from the balcony of this property are stunning. Added to it, a lovely soothing fountain in the courtyard that adds to the feeling of tranquility and relaxation. Hot though it was, I was constantly out on that balcony soaking up the mountain views. It takes 21 steps to get up to this property. If you have mobility issues, bear that in mind. There are handrails on either side of the stairs. As far as housekeeping, we were only left one wash cloth in the master bathroom and there was no washcloth in the second bathroom. Soap is the size of a large pat of butter, between two people for 2 days. You have to take the soap from the hand basin to the shower and then put it back. In hot weather, going swimming and biking, the soap gets used up quickly, breaks in half. A second soap would be appreciated. It would be handy to have all instructions, including moving out and taking trash to the dumpsters, in advance. I forgot my phone so didn't check email. I saw the instructions to take trash to the dumpster when I got home. By habit when we stay at any properties, we strip the bed and put up a load of laundry with the sheets and towels, so that was done anyway. We did not cook at the property but the kitchen looked to be well stocked with all the essentials and if you crack open the kitchen window just a bit, you can hear that lovely fountain. This apartment comes with a garage which was helpful to keep the car cooler and to store my bike. The Legacy Villas is a lovely, well-maintained property. We have stayed there a few times and enjoy going back.

Beautiful views, Clean Unit, Will Come Back For Sure!

We’ve stayed at several units at the Legacy Villas in La Quinta, and this unit was by far the cleanest we’ve stayed in. We would have appreciated a few more linens, especially hand towels and washcloths, and more than one towel available in the kitchen. While a washer / dryer is available, wasting that much water for a few smaller towels isn’t ideal. The kitchen shears are missing as well, so having a pair of scissors available would have been nice. But this unit is streamlined and cared for, and it shows.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Our 2 bedroom unit had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable as was the sofa. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. Plenty of hot water for showers. The grounds are lovely. We sat at the pool and walked on the trail surrounding the property. Nice patio area as well. We would definitely return.
