ONE OF A KIND PRIVATE COZY HOME
This darling house has total privacy. Jacuzzi and Pool belong to you. Drive just one mile to Old Town shopping center, 6 restaurants, several bars, shops, gas stations, hardware store. Walking trails are one block away! Pool is not heated.

SPECIAL EVENT IN APRIL -COACHELLA MUSIC FESTIVAL

Also provided: Beach-size towels, regular towels/wash cloths, hairdryers, A large capacity washer and dryer are also accessible during your stay.

The fully equipped Brand New eat-in kitchen with dining area which seats six. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel dishwasher, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and blender (VitaMix), pots & pans, dishes. If you plan to cook, a full array of spices, plus oils, are supplied to help get you started. Sometimes out depending on the previous people. Outdoor patio with BBQ, table and chairs and chaise lounges, all facing the pool and spa and large lawn. Outdoor lighting of garden and or pool and spa. Pool is not heated.

Gorgeous mountain views. Patio and lawn setting. Walking distance to beautiful mountain hiking trails. Short distance to public golf courses, and close to Indian Wells Tennis. 1 mile to Old Town which features restaurants, wine tasting bar, new Beer tasting, coffee shops, unique shopping, and farmers market. Near specialized markets, health food stores, 35 minutes to Palm Springs. 20 minutes to the famous walk in Palm Desert: El Paseo. 1/2 hour to Whole Foods.

PHOTOGRAPHERS HAVEN: The most prominent feature of the La Quinta area is its Santa Rosa Mountains. The Santa Rosa Mountains (California) are nestled against the golf course and can be seen easily from my La Quinta House!

NATION'S LEADING GOLF DESTINATION: The Robb Report credits La Quinta as the nation's leading golf destination. Among those destinations is the La Quinta Resort and Club, a resort dating to 1926 and famous as the spot in which director Frank Capra penned the screenplay of Lost Horizon.

Dog Policy: Small, hypoallergenic/non-shedding dogs accepted. Pet deposit of $85 for extra cleaning will be collected with the VRBO booking fees. This is a non-refundable pet deposit.

Absolutely Fabulous.. This house was much more than we had expected from the on line description. Total privacy in the back yard. The hot tub was large and easy to heat up. Interior rooms were good sized and flowed well. The kitchen was generously set up and easy for several people to be in at the same time. The location was perfect as we like to walk and there were two trailheads within 3 minute drives that offered multiple trails into the desert.

We have been staying at the pool house for the past ten years and are never disappointed in our stay. The hot tub heats up quickly and is the perfect temperature. Perfect yard and privacy. Charming, mid century gem that is in a great location to the Cove.

Overall the house was clean and met our needs. Areas is quiet. The outside creates a bad impression because the paint is peeling and a side area is poorly maintained. The positives were a good kitchen, plenty of hot water and towels, comfortable beds, nice yard. Negatives were a master bath badly in need of renovation. Hot tub warms up some but neither it nor the pool are really usable in this season. Sprinklers are on a schedule that means you often get wet if you sit outside for very long.

Very comfortable home. Clean and neat. Since I brought two small dogs under ten pounds I covered the furniture with my own sheets. The owner was concerned about dog hair. The backyard is beautiful. A perfect getaway. We had a small issue with the hot tv, but that got sorted out by the end of the first day. Five minutes from a grocery store. Which was handy.

This is my second time staying at this comfortable, well-appointed home! The desert home decor is tastefully done; clean, well stocked with towels, up to date appliances; wifi signal strong and electronics all working. The pool and connecting hot tub are just lovely, enjoyed them all day and into the evening. Choice dining options in old town La Quinta, and many other select options outside of town! I feel like we found a jewel and will return again, and again. Thank you Jane and Katy for all you did to make this desert get-a-way happen.

I purchased this house in 2005 because I fell in love with it and the location. I love the desert and love traveling. I spent two years in Europe (one in Paris and one in Switzerland). I speak French. After two years abroad at age 21, too much wine led me to my past and current interest in health and nutrition. I do daily research on healthful living styles using vitamins and minerals. Also Young Living Essential Oils of which a distribute at wholesale.

I have two children, both musicians. 3 grand children. When I come to my desert home about 10 hours a day are spent in the pool with my children and grand children.

Why they chose this property

This property is so well kept up. It is ready for anyone to move into. The area is spectacular. The views of the mountains and the hiking trails are some of the best in the world. There is a statue of a horse (new) on top of a mountain which lights up at night and can be seen from this house in the backyard. Also house is 35 minutes to Palm Springs, The Palm Springs Art Museum and the Thursday night walks. 10 minutes to Palm Desert with their art galleries and extravagant shops, great restaurants.

This property is close to the Coachella Music Festival which occurs once a year. It is also one block from the hiking trails. There is a pool and a spa which is absolutely extraordinary with a lawn and double size lot.

What makes this property unique

The Pool and Jacuzzi (remote turn on in house) have great charm and that is why I fell in love with this place. Facing the patio is a large lawn used for a lovely sitting area. The front of the house is also beautifully landscaped and has a sitting area as well. The bedrooms are very large and I have had as many as 6 people stay there with no problem. Many extra futons available. I love this house. Total vacation away from home and just 1.3 miles to Old Town famous for shops and restaurants.
