It was a beautiful property with stunning views and the host always replied immediately, however I do wish there was AC and blackout curtains. All we had was fans that blew the hot air and it was always hotter inside the place than the outside no matter how much we kept the doors and windows open, which made it very hard to sleep in 80 humid august weather. The blackout curtains could have made it less hot in there and easier to sleep as well because of the bright sun waking us as soon as it rose. Due to the brightness and heat in the room, it was so hard to get a good night’s sleep. The check in process was annoying, we had to print our own paper and write down names and ages of visitors. Ive never had to do that for any rental I stayed at, and the guards we annoying with not letting in my guests i had the names clearly written down. they alwys called me to go get them which, why do that? you cant check id?

Thank you for your feedback. We’re looking into options to help reduce the heat inside our condo. Unfortunately, the vast majority of homes and condos in Rosarito were not originally built with A/C in mind. We send the check-in document ahead of time to give our renters plenty of time to print and complete the form before arrival. This security process is in place to help keep both our guests and the gated community safe. Having all guest names listed on the form upon arrival also makes the check-in process much easier for our security team. I’ll double-check with our team to better understand what happened during your visit. Thanks again for taking the time to share your valuable feedback. We’ll do our best to address these issues and improve the experience for future guests.

Calafia Resort Rosarito Baja California

I can't thank Humberto enough for accommodating my mistake. I had scheduled the wrong days, but he was able to change it and understand my error. The place was easy to find, with very friendly guards. Hosts Humberto were always very friendly and quick to respond to my questions. When I was having trouble accessing Vrbo, he responded immediately and provided the information I needed. The view was beautiful, and I can't recommend this place enough. I'm glad I found it, and I will definitely return if it's available.
