Our stay in this charming home could not have been better! We were returning to Decatur for my FIL funeral, and being together was our first priority! The host was very easy to communicate with and made a few exceptions to accommodate our family. The space was perfect for gathering for meals or just to hang out. The kitchen was superb , with everything you would need to serve a large group. We had a toddler with us who loved the outside space … even the grownups took advantage of the backyard! This was a fantastic find!
We had a friends reunion with eight people and this was perfect. Great location (a quiet street but walking distance to Decatur and Marta), plenty of room both inside and on the back porch, clean and updated. The kitchen had everything we needed. Dawn was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.
We had several young children and different couples. With so many rooms and a beautiful family room area, it made the stay excellent for our family. Dawn was great at communicating and we appreciated that she checked in to make sure everything was okay! Highly recommend this spot.
Loved the house, it was the perfect stay for a group of us that were in town for a college reunion. The best part was the amazing back porch! All the bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. Minor issue is that parking can be a challenge if you have more than two cars but otherwise it's not an issue at all. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, definitely recommend.
This property was spacious, well stocked with all you need for a fun stay, and conveniently located to Decatur and Midtown Atlanta. The host is incredibly responsive. The beds are very comfy. The house is located at the end of a dead end street that is well established and very quiet. Our family had a magical time staying during my daughter’s wedding weekend.
This house is big and has a lovely comfortable family feeling. It has nooks for children to play or adults to read or work. There was a Christmas tree in the family room and Christmas decorations scattered throughout the house- that was unexpected and gave us a reason to have our Christmas Day celebration at the house. This is a perfect house for families to gather.
This is a lovely property in a mature neighborhood in Decatur, GA. The house is spacious with generous rooms. Can easily accommodate a large group. Beautiful covered porch overlooking a private yard. Ower is very attentive and responsive. Well appointed kitchen.
We enjoyed our stay in Dawns home. The location was excellent for our family to gather for our daughter’s graduation from Emory. The big back porch was wonderful for spending time together. The first floor bedroom was helpful for grandparents who find stairs difficult. (The stairs were a bit steep for the older generation but fine for the rest of us.) Everyone loved the big sectional with the reclining seats.
This house was incredible. We were in town for my son‘s wedding, and I needed a home for grandparents, aunts and uncles, and grandson. The home was so unbelievably spacious. And the ample bedrooms gave everyone the privacy that they needed when they needed it.I don’t have one complaint about the home. The neighborhood was wonderful to walk-through. And my daughter and I did daily walks to Publix for our groceries. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
The house was exactly what we needed. The children enjoyed the back yard and the play structure. We did have to talk to them about why the platform for the former zip line was not safe and we were worried about the integrity of the trampoline net so they did not play on those. We used all 6 bedrooms and were happy with them. Lots of room to relax and enjoy.

Thankfully the vast majority of guests that have rented our home through the years have been fantastic. Once in a while you have a group that completely disregards your house rules and disrespects your home and neighbors. Sierra Milner and her group were unfortunately just that. They showed up past check in hours with 5 to 6 additional guests that were not on the reservation. They were very loud and vulgar yelling profanities in the front yard. They were smoking and coming and going constantly throughout the night. All of these are violations of our house rules are clearly listed on the platform. I have no doubt that Ms. Milner did not read any of the information or the house rules prior to booking my property. She even called me at 10 o’clock at night when they arrived asking for the door code which was sent to her not only in a welcome letter but also listed on the platform. Her review is completely false and was done in retaliation of me asking them to leave the following morning by 11 AM. They left my house trashed, food in the beds, garbage all over the house and cigarettes and beer bottles all over the yard. Again, thankfully these type of guests are very rare, otherwise I would stop hosting altogether. Hopefully people will understand and disregard her false review and just look at the other five star reviews I have on this house.
This was the first time our children and grandchildren have been together in almost three years. The house was perfect for the adults to hang out while the kids played in the huge backyard or soaked in the hot tub. Dawn could not have been more responsive. The house is beautiful and the location is great. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful wedding weekend in Decatur and loved being able to fit the groom’s family into the house. We even had an Aunt & Uncle stay in the City Cottage on the same property, although it rents separately.
We had a group of adults traveling for a wedding in Atlanta. This house met our needs and was in a great location. Plenty of space, large bedrooms, and a nice open common space between the kitchen and family room. The back porch/deck was very comfortable and kept us out of the sun on hot days. The owner was always responsive. We had one small glitch with the refrigerator, but it did not impact our stay and the owner answered my call right away. If you have children, the back yard needs some attention, but we did not utilize the yard; only the covered porch. Overall, we loved the house, the location, and the owner was very responsive. I would highly recommend this rental.
Perfect place for spring break trip with kids and dog. Beautiful home with large screen porch. We enjoyed the hot tub! Fully stocked kitchen made cooking delightful. Many extras provided by kind and generous host. Easy walk to Decatur Square.
