Beecomb House- New & Modern Water View House

Fall in love with Prince Edward Island while staying in this completely renovated, modern home. Situated on Water street, you are central to all the Charlottetown hot spots. Simply cross the street and you will find yourself on the boardwalk. 5 minute walk to Peakes Quay. Sip your coffee from the kitchen table while you watch the cruise ships arrive. Love coffee? The famous Receiver coffee roaster and cafe is directly across the street. The Beecomb also has an amazing private backyard!!

Completely renovated historic home on Water Street which is very central. Just cross the street and you are on the boardwalk which takes you all along the shoreline, past Peakes Quay and beyond. Interested in a beach day? Our favorite one is Brackley beach- just a 20min drive away.

Guests will have access to the entire house including the beautiful private backyard space which will have outdoor furniture and a bbq in time for spring

The Beecomb house is in a popular area of Charlottetown, just steps from the boardwalk which is a breathtaking walk along the shoreline. The Beecomb is a 5 min walk to Peakes Quay where you will find the best views of the city, award winning restaurants, shops and entertainment all on the water. 20 minutes to our favorite beach- Brackley Beach. Cavendish is also a short 40km drive- an easy day trip.

Street parking available in front of the house

Kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher as well as all the utensils and cookware to prepare a full meal. Towels and bed linens also provided.
Garbage & Recycling: Garbage sorting in Charlottetown is a bit complicated and they are very particular about it. Please refer to the sorting guide for what goes where. We have supplied you with a compost bin, waste and recycling bin below the sink. All of the recycling can be mixed in that bin, we will sort it for you once you leave.

Sofa bed bedding is inside the sofa. Lift the chaise side upwards and the bedding is stored in there.

Parking: Free street parking in front of the house as well as on the side streets nearby.


Check-out: Check-out time is 11am. Please load and turn on the dishwasher before you leave. If the sofa bedding was used, leave it out so the cleaner knows it needs to be washed.

Absolutely NO smoking or vaping inside the house.

This little character home is beautifully renovated throughout, well equipped, clean and comfortable. It sits in the heart of waterfront Charlottetown, surrounded by restaurants and shops. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. I wish we had another day to explore.

Incredible location and so, so charming!

Could not ask for a better location. Beautiful old home with fantastic owners. The awesome backyard is the cherry on top. My 70 year old parents loved it as much as our 2 and 6 years old.

Lovely spot in a great location!

Beecomb House is a wonderful little home in an unbeatable spot, right across from Charlottetown’s harbour and steps away from Confederation Landing and Peake’s Wharf. The house is well-reno’d and very comfortable. The five of us stayed there happily for two nights and saw lots and lots of Charlottetown. Definitely recommend.

Quick trip to Charlottetown

My two adult kids and I came up to Charlottetown for a couple nights for a quick getaway. Beecomb House was the perfect location for a relaxed couple days of exploring the city. We just parked our car at the house and walked everywhere. The house was super clean and cozy, and even though it's right on a busier street, it was quiet inside. Right across the street is a gift and food market, and also an amazing coffee shop. The house had evrythig we needed for cooking and a really lovely back yard area with lovely shade and birdsong. I'll totally be back!

Charlottetown Perfection

Beecomb is the little jewel that made our Charlottetown trip sparkle! We were in town for the Canada Games and the location of the house couldn’t have been better: steps from the centre of downtown, an easy trip to venues across the Island. Everything about Beecomb was great - kitchen well equipped, beds really comfortable, WiFi reliable (important for the teenager!), our hosts helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

Great location. Communication with property owner was excellent. Due to the unusual heat, the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms was an issue when sleeping. No fan and window could not be opened in the bathroom. The window handle in the back bedroom window was not secured. For a one night stay, the pluses outweighed the opportunities.

Updated Old-World Charm

Spent 3 days at the BeeComb with my husband. We found it to be exactly as advertised - clean, comfortable and within walking distance to all Charlottetown has to offer. We most appreciated the thoughtful design elements throughout the house, from the mirror & utility hooks in the foyer to the ample storage in the bathroom vanity. The mattress & linens were comfy, and the individual bedside sconce lighting allowed for more space on the nightstands (big deal for us!). Bathroom was super clean & bright(skylight) with plenty of quality towels. We chose to eat out for most meals (so many options!) but the kitchen had enough counter space to prep. Free, on-street parking right out front. We visit PEI regularly and are so happy to have found this property…we’ll definitely return!

Great Location

Location was great. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. House was clean and backyard area super cute. Upstairs did get very hot in the evening even with the air conditioner unit on the first floor. There was a small fan in 1 bedroom but both bedrooms could definitely use a larger fan to make sleeping more comfortable. Overall a great experience.

Little home in Charlottetown

This was an excellent choice. The property is centrally located, right near the water and walking distance from everything in Charlottetown. The house is clean, recently refurbished and has all the amenities one might need. Communication with the owners was quick and easy and we appreciated their suggestions and recommendations. We'd stay here again when in the area.

Hi! We are avid travellers with 3 young children. It is our priority to travel and explore with our kids and we are always looking for gaps in our schedules so we can get away. We own two vacation properties, one in the Muskokas and one in Charlottetown. We have completely fallen in love with both of these places and are excited to share it with others.

Why they chose this property

Garth was born and raised in Stratford PEI and will always feel like an east coaster at heart. He has so many amazing childhood memories of growing up on the ocean and we want to share that with our children as well. We fell upon this house by accident but it was perfect for us. It is a traditional east coast a frame cedar shake house in the heart of Charlottetown. We love waking up to the view of the ocean and being able to walk to all the great restaurants and shops.
