Beautiful Home
We loved our stay at Calle Mod. The home is beautiful and very comfortably furnished. The pool and backyard is everything you are wishing for with your Palm Springs stay. The house is in a lovely quiet neighborhood and it’s close and convenient to the main spots in downtown Palm Springs. We’d definitely stay here again.

Photographs can be Deceiving
The house was very clean, very modern, well appointed kitchen, and beautiful new bathrooms. The location was outstanding, relatively close to town and in a very quiet, high-end neighborhood. A few constructive comments about looks being deceiving: The two bed, two bath wing of the house has clearly experienced water damage on the ceilings and walls. There was a musty smell and the carpets in those rooms were buckled, which is evidence of water damage. The carpets should be replaced with the flooring that is throughout the rest of the house. The photographs of the yard and its view were not accurate because the shrubbery shown along the wall has grown into mature, tall tress that completely obscures the view of the mountain and palm trees, In addition, the trees not only shed thousands of flowers into the pool and surrounding area, but stems, leaves and branches. We were constantly swimming in debris that had fallen from these overgrown shrubs. Because we are conscientious, we emptied the filter basket loaded with these flowers and debris a few times each day. If we hadn't there would be damage to the filter. The two side yards were full of broken and discarded furniture. The umbrellas did not fit into their stands properly and were faded and ill-fitting. The dining furniture and old lounge chairs near fire pit on the patio is old, chipped and should be replaced (for this price!) Additionally, the outdoor carpet under the newer lounge chairs was torn and frayed and should be replaced. Biggest issue was the flowering trees which must be cut down. All of these things for the price we paid should be addressed because there were omnipresent signs that renters would be fined for touching this, moving that, using this....Where we have stayed in the past in PS, has always had pristine outdoor space. Lastly, the management company, Oasis Rentals, was not customer service friendly and very rigid. They charge over $500 to heat the pool. Because I didn't think we needed it, I declined. When I arrived and pool water was slightly cold, I asked and they refused to come out and provide this two minute service. They kept reminding me that I initially declined. Then they reminded me of the $99 per day fine for turning on the heat. We refused to break that rule. That would have been $1,000 for our ten day stay. Now, why wouldn't electricity for a pool be built into the price? I recommend potential renters steer clear of Oasis managed props.

Perfect January
The property was exactly as advertised. We had our 2 adult daughters plus one son-in-law and granddaughter. The house easily accommodated the group. Made good use of the heated pool and hot tub. Location could not be better. Later in the month we had various couples visit at different times. Throughout the month we hiked on a half dozen different trails and most were from 5 to 10 minutes from the house. Also within 10 minutes or less from all of the restaurants that we tried. The neighborhood is nice and quiet -- good for walking on those days that we were not hiking. Also close to groceries (Jensen's and Ralph's), pharmacies, and coffee (Koffi on East Palm). The only suggestions for the management company are to consider outfitting the kitchen with a few more cooking utensils. Also, it would be better to have a house "book" with directions on how everything works and where everything was located. The rental agent said that not having one was an affirmative decision of the owner, which is frankly odd. But Oasis Properties was always responsive to my various calls and texts asking basic questions. Finally, there is no music system anywhere in the house, so it was iPad quality only for our stay.

Great property
Great property! Exactly as advertised in a great neighborhood. Had to make a few more calls than I would have liked to have prior trash removed from before my stay and a week into my stay still not addressed due to a lock issue but things like that can happen and had nothing to do with the actual property which is outstanding.
