There were 8 of us , lots of room and the kitchen was very well stocked. We had two cars and there was plenty of room to park. We loved being away from the cruise ships. Would stay here again. Everyone said the beds were comfortable.
We were very pleased with the house and with the support. Our only concern was that the trash that we took out was scattered on the driveway. Would be good to have a lock on the garbage. We loved our stay.
Family of 8 come for a fishing trip house was perfect for our group we spent one day for most part in the house due to rain and cold was cozy and comfortable for that. Would rent again.
The house was big and spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. The master bedroom has a huge walk in closet and was perfect to make into a little room for our small children so they could be close to us. We were in close driving distance to down town, fishing, and hiking. We enjoyed our stay.
Huge house, 8 of fit it comfortably, having the second living room was great for the kids, amd being downstairs was significantly cooler. Beds were comfortable. Location very convenient. Ad says paid laundry but was free. We enjoyed the deck amd views.
My family all liked the house. A third full bath would have been nice.

Quiet and Comfortable
This home was very clean. The beds seemed new. It was in a quiet neighborhood with off street parking. It’s not walking distance to downtown, so transportation is needed as Uber and Taxi are somewhat limited. Not much of a view of the bay, and the airport lights could be bothersome if you wanted the shades open in the evening. Overall, this home was quite comfortable. We would stay again.
The exterior photos, and the actual view, were a little concerning but once we walked inside we were impressed. The house was a little dated but in great shape, very clean and everything worked (minor issue with whirlpool tub). Many convienences were already there including cooking utensils, grill with gas, spices, oven mitts etc. We prepared and ate all our meals there including grilling fresh caught halibut on the outdoor grill. The stove top exhauster worked great for stove top cooking. Online the interior photos for this listing were the same as another listing so we weren't certain what to expect. The beds and bed cloths were comfy and I know we all slept well. Some kind soul left a walking stick by the front door which I used to a great extend for a trek up Deer Mtn ! The only concern was after my hike up the mountain I was looking forward to the whirlpool tub but it produce very little pressure and I could not get the jets to adjust, I think it may need a little attention. Otherwise what a great stay, we really enjoyed ourselves and would utilize this location again should we return. Oh another minor issue was the two windows in the living room that crank out have to be played with a little from the outside to get them to close. This was a great stay!
This was a perfect home for us to stay in while visiting our son - very nice, clean, spacious and in a great location. We had not rented a house before so we weren ’t sure what to expect. It was super helpful to be able to spread out and relax at the end of the day. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The owner was incredibly personable and accommodating over the phone. One of my husband’s favorite things was to sit on the deck in the morning & watch the cruise ships come in. If we ever make it back to Ketchikan, we would definitely rent this house again!
