About this property

Enchanted Valley View, Unit 1

We are nestled in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. Our fabulous hilltop location overlooking several lush valleys inspired our name. The Enchanted Valley View is a fully furnished guest residence with a fabulous panoramic view of the surrounding valleys. The master bedroom offers a rustic flavor with a queen size bed, flat screen TV and access to a full patio overlooking the valleys. The other bedroom is spacious with a full size bed and walk-in closet. The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of counter space, a glass top electric range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator and all necessary utensils. A set of french doors from the kitchen will lead you to the glass enclosed sun room that overlooks the valleys. There are patios on either side of the sun room ready for barbecuing or simply relaxing in the fresh country air. The living room offers extra sleeping space with a queen size sofa bed. The large bathroom has a full size shower.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Enchanted Valley View. It was quiet and peaceful and the views are majestic. James is a wonderful host and helped us really feel at home here. It is a special place and we'd recommend it highly to anyone considering a stay in the Watkins Glen area.

We really enjoyed the stay here spent a lot of time in the sunroom looking at the beautiful view , loved looking at all the artifacts and learning what they were it was like stepping into a museum, no complaints was an awesome spot to stay for my birthday! Would stay again!

Views were absolutely amazing! We loved all the antiques and enjoyed looking through the photo albums and scrapbooks. Owner was great with communication if we needed anything. We will definitely stay again!

We have some mixed reviews for this property-Pros: the views out the deck are outstanding. The location was perfect for us.Bedding was clean.Kitchen had everything you could need.Bathrooms were sufficient.Air conditioners in each bedroom.Cons: The floors needed to be vacuumed.No whole house air conditioning- it was very warm in the house.Visible dirt on the end table on the porch.One bedroom had a broken mirror next to the window.The dining room had a broken plate on the buffet.The towels were fairly ragged, but clean.A garbage bag with garbage was left in the kitchen.The garbage and recycle bins were very dirty.Bathroom toilet seat was loose and cold handle faucet is loose.There were live and dead bees on both outside decks.

As they say, location location location. Come for the view, stay for the view. Jim is a welcoming and gracious host, the house is warm and homey, and to be honest, we spent all of our time in the sunroom overlooking the valley. Looking forward to being able to stay there again next time I visit Watkins Glen

Laid back, homey feel with a very well equipped kitchen & plenty of space for lots more than just the 2 of us. Gorgeous views with a great location to explore the area. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful scenery, gorgeous views! You don’t want to miss out on the views from the decks on this home. The home is welcoming and cozy. Plenty of room for families or friends. And fun to walk around reminiscing at some of the antiques and memborlia. Will be back next fall!
