Easy travel with minimal traffic, to and from Pigeon Forge using Stoplight 1, via the National Park. It's a close and easy drive to all area attractions and restaurants, yet tucked away in a nice, quiet private setting. The comfortable sofa is perfect for stretching out in front of the fireplace and watching TV, or reading a good book. It also pulls out to a queen size sleeper with a brand new comfortable mattress. Or you can choose to enjoy a good game of pool. The bedroom is outfitted with real log furniture and a comfortable king sized bed. Also with a spacious bathroom with a private two-person jacuzzi tub. The fully stocked kitchen allows you the option of having a romantic meal at home, where you can also enjoy the warmth of the gas-log fireplace. Plenty of space between neighbors allows for privacy when relaxing in the brand new outdoor hot tub and enjoying the mountain view. Spacious, level yard for outdoor games. Easy access to all attractions, but still private and tucked in the mountains. Level parking area with easy street access. This cabin provides a perfect, peaceful, and stress-free getaway.

Perfect little get away

This cabin was perfect for my husband and I to spend our 20th wedding anniversary! It was close to town but far enough for us to have some privacy. Would highly recommend this cabin

Cabin was clean and comfortable; fully stocked for your convenience. Communication was fantastic. Check in was clear and had no issues with getting into the cabin. The view was beautiful and the cabin was close to town. We will be back again.

Relaxing cabin close to Smokies

Great location of this cozy cabin in the mountain area Gatlinburg. Grocery store 1.5 miles away and access to the National Park was close as well. We had a great time hiking in the morning and returning to the cabin to relax in the hot tub, prepare a nice meal and play pool. Made great memories gazing at stars while relaxing in hot tub. Sheila our host was very communicative if we needed anything. Kitchen was pretty stocked with most things necessary to prepare full meals. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Very clean with nice views. Some paint would freshen up the place. I don't expect everything to be the newest or the best or high end but it could really use a new paint job.We definitely appreciated how clean it was.

Romantic get away

It was great. Quite and left alone to have a romantic get away with my wife. Privacy at the cabin and privacy at the hot tub and the view from the deck was awesome. It was great getting away over new years.

Beautiful hideaway

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Mountain Joy so much! The cabin was very cozy and clean and had everything you could need. The mountain views were incredible and nothing beat sitting in the hot tub at night looking up at the stars! I hope we can return soon!

Was an amazing place

The property was so beautiful and loved it. Only thing needed is a new king mattress it was live being sunk into a whole in the middle and very squeaky, and the couch has no cushion was like very hard. But besides those 2 things it was an amazing experience to stay I. A cabin.

Great Honeymoon

This was such a great place to stay. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. There was a beautiful view. A great clean hottub. A very nice jacuzzi tub. I would definitely stay again. Only thing i would recommend is getting steps for the hottub.

Nice secluded getaway

We loved the cabin. Very closed to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and only a few minutes from Dollywood. The view from the back deck is incredible. I would highly recommend this rental and will stay there again.

A quick getaway

We love Gatlinburg and have been many many times with our family and friends for 40 years. Sometimes acabin and sometimes a condo, but prefer a cabin. This is s nice little cabin for a couple and it has a great view and easy to get to. It needs a bit of updating and a new paint job, the pool table could go and the deck is getting weathered, but we would say again

Great view, somewhat secluded and yet convenient location. It's definitely ready for some TLC/upgrades. I was hoping to sit on deck and read while enjoying the view, but there were no suitable chairs, even inside.

My childhood vacations always included passing through the area on our way to see family in Tennessee. I have always enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness that the mountains have to offer. After hiking the Appalachian Trail several times, I knew that I wanted a place near Gatlinburg. This cabin is my dream come true and I am pleased to share it with my guests. I only ask that my guests treat the cabin with kindness and respect, so others can enjoy it also.

Why they chose this property

I chose Mountain Joy because it is located just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and the Arts and Craft Community, and yet it is tucked away in the mountain which allows for privacy. The roads are well maintained easy to navigate. Nice level parking with easy street access. I also love the level yard which offers a lot of room for outside activities.

I chose this cabin for it's beautiful mountain view, location and privacy. The roads are easily accessible and well maintained. Close to all the attractions and restaurants and yet tucked away in a nice quiet private setting. Very spacious floor plan with lots of natural light offers a comfortable place, with a beautiful view, for your getaway. I pride myself in the cleanliness of my properties.
