In this lovely home in a quiet neighborhood in Cape St. Claire, Annapolis, MD, you are a short 12-minute car ride from the US Naval Academy and downtown Annapolis with great restaurants to choose from. Walk along the Little Magothy River and perhaps visit the very nearby playground and small beach. In season, relax in the private pool, or sit by the pool and private dock and watch the ospreys flying in and out of the nest. Enjoy the cozy fireplace on chilly evenings or hang with your friends or family in the downstairs game room, complete with a ping pong table. Or mellow by the new updated “smart tv’s” installed in late 2025.

Stay connected with the high-speed WiFi; manage laundry with the in-house washer and dryer; and enjoy the full kitchen featuring the stove, oven, refrigerator, and tools needed you to whip up delicious meals, not to mention the propane grill by the pool.

This lovely home is located in a nice neighborhood. The views of the water were great, and we enjoyed the private pool. The house is just down the street from a wonderful park with a playground and views of the Chesapeake Bay. It was a great spot for our 4 generation family gathering, with lots of options of day trips.

A perfect week!

We had an amazing and relaxing week thanks to such a comfortable home with such beautiful views. We loved the pool and the pier and pretty much everything about our stay. To boot, the owners were informative, approachable and very pleasant to rent from.

Wonderful home in a beautiful location. Super peaceful and loved the Cape St. Clair community. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Provided a great home with a very well stocked kitchen! We will definitely be back!!

Clean quaint house in a ideal location

Family of 6 + dog (kids 10-16). Great owner communication, clean and well-appointed home with a perfect location right on the water with a good-size pool.

The host was responsive and the location is beautiful, but being there for Thanksgiving, we of course could not take advantage of the pool or water. The home allowed us to all be together for Thanksgiving with plenty of table space and utensils. I grabbed cleaning supplies at the store, but it would be nice to have some available upon arrival. There were no dishwasher pods and only 1 garbage bag. I liked having plenty of parking for family visiting. If we need a house in the summer, we will definitely look at returning here.

Little Magothy River

Great views and access to community amenities. Our boat tour was able to pick us up at the dock and take us for a beautiful trip in the Little Magothy and Magothy River!.

We really enjoyed our stay here and spent a good amount of time in the pool. We had a slight hitch with our arrival, but the hosts were very apologetic and made it up to us. The neighborhood was a good one for walking our dog and the kitchen had all the things we needed. The local grocery store had what we were looking for and we ate from several of the restaurants in that little strip as well. We did use several pool toys from the shed, so that was a nice bonus. Thanks so much!

Incredible river views

Ten rooms on two floors and each one is unique. A 2nd floor has a stunning bed and bath with a panoramic view of the river, its wildlife and boating.It had every amenity. Each room, including the dining room and kitchen and two living rooms all were very comfortable.We invited friends who live in the neighborhood and they were astounded.

Relaxing fun for adults and kids

My husband and I met our friends, a married couple with kids, and everyone had a wonderful time. We loved sitting on the screened-in back porch, watching the birds and the boats. We loved swimming with pool noodles. We loved grilling hot dogs outside and making pancakes in the kitchen. We loved the grassy yard with pretty flowers and views of the water. We loved that the house had two living areas, one for their family and one for ours. It was the perfect weekend we wanted!

Lovely views

The house welcomed us into the kitchen. On one side our daughter and her two teens found their rooms (two bedrooms and a living room with a pullout couch, plus bath); on the other was a large family room with table and chairs for casual dining, with steps leading up to a master bedroom/bath. Perfect! Lovely water views and lots of light! We enjoyed our stay in spite of the lack of hairdryer and some noise from the construction next door.

Great location+ great house+ great owner=Lovely Easter with Family

Came to spend Easter with my midshipman and our college-age daughter from Texas. Relaxing time spent at this waterfront house. It is mere blocks from to Grauls supermarket, so I had everything I needed for homecooked meals to spoil my family. Loved watching the osprey nests. Loved the deck. Walking the neighborhood is safe and easy. Park nearby with dogs and little chilren. Idyllic truly! Of all the VRBO's I have stayed in, this owner was by far the most responsive, the most caring. Highly recommend.

Great Relaxing Vacation, Close to many things

The neighborhood and property were ideal for a quiet weekend. We were visiting our mid at USNA and it had everything he needed to unplug. The porch was relaxing and a great way to start and end the day, having a living room, den and porch gave us space needed to relax. Being able to grill was also a treat. The yard was perfect for our dog to run and plan. My only negative is that the picture of bedrooms shows 4 bedrooms. There are only 3 (which is what the actual listing said). This time that was not a problem, but could have been if our whole family was there. Again, just inconsistent on the visual given under amenities for "bedrooms"

Annual Girlfriend Trip

The house was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Communication with owner was excellent. The view of the river from the house and poolside was delightful. Excursions to Annapolis and St. Michaels were very easy from this location. We had a great time. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Vacay!!!

We were so pleasantly happy with this beautiful Cape Home! The area was so peaceful and tranquil yet close to grocery store and restaurants! Relaxing and amazing pool and view

This charming house was a perfect place for a family of 7 to celebrate high school graduations over a long weekend. We all said we wished we could’ve stayed longer. Plenty of space to spread out or all hang together. Beds are very comfortable, excellent AC, well stocked kitchen, plenty of beach towels, high end grill, and the screened in porch was a wonderful place to have coffee in the am or an evening beverage. Ping pong table and laundry in basement. Pool was clear and perfect for all ages since one end is shallower and other end is deep. Plenty of sturdy deck seating and dining, both indoors and out. Excellent location, easy drive to both Baltimore and Annapolis. We also rented a pontoon boat with a captain for 4 hours at a nearby marina. We packed up a cooler of beverages and snacks and took the kids tubing, we all had a blast (a little expensive but was worth it!) As others have mentioned, the amazingly beautiful view, watching the osprey nest and the dock make this home a unique property and we will be renting for a whole week in the near future. Barbara was responsive and pleasure to work with. We can’t wait to come back. You will love this place!!

Great Home in Great Location

This was a lovely home in a great neighborhood. The backyard leading up to the water with a pool and private dock make this home an absolute winner. Our family enjoyed the views, sunshine and watching the falcons nested a mere 40 yards away. The yard is completely fenced and great for people who travel with pets. Our dog even took the leap off of the dock! Barbara was easy to deal with and the communication was seamless. We visited our midshipman who really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the property and being able to unwind. The little town also offered great food options and everything you would need for your stay less than five minutes away.

Great waterfront location near Annapolis!

Great location, quiet neighborhood, beautiful view of the water, spacious home, and welcoming hosts! Easy access to restaurants, not far from Annapolis. Well equipped kitchen; able to cook meals we planned. Lots of windows with great views. Would love to visit when it is warm enough to use the pool.

Great Thanksgiving

We had an enjoyable stay. Barbara, our host made everything easy and smooth. The house was great, the neighborhood was very nice and the view was amazing. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving dinner a delicous one. Very clean as well.

We reside nearby and enjoy our Cape retreat as a peaceful getaway. We choose to share "Swan" with others who we hope find the location, the decor and amenities, and nature's beauty a wonderful fit, whether for short or longer stays.

Why they chose this property

After five years of searching for the right Annapolis waterfront home with the kind of open and natural view that brings a moment of peace, we finally found it! The view - the open family room that is open to the kitchen table – the large master bedroom with balcony deck facing the water - are what sold us on the house. We also fell in love with the large double lot for running around, playing softball, Frisbee or grilling out back and enjoying watching the mama osprey in the spring returning with fish to feed her babies in the nest just off our pier. After our purchase, we redid the kitchen, replacing kitchen appliances, updated both bathrooms, and finished the basement with a rec area with ping pong and toys.

What makes this property unique

An in-ground swimming pool right on the Little Magothy! Great location, a short stroll to the nearby playground and small beach area, a private pier for easy water access, a nice redone kitchen, gas grill with lots of outdoor furniture. In the summer, the Little Magothy River is a perfect size - lots of water skiers and kayaks out, with a perfect mix of peace and fun!

We are "dog friendly' with no more than two canine friends, though pups we do not allow.

3 Bedroom/2 Bathroom Waterfront Home with a Pool: It's a great combo when you can live on the waterfront with a pool, a pier, a fenced yard, and a screened porch for your summer crab feasts. New kitchen and new master bath...wonderful views and lots of boating activity.
