Urgent Complaint Regarding Recent Stay - Request for Reimbursement and Action
Dear Vrbo Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding my recent stay at a property booked through your platform. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to bring these issues to your attention. During my stay I encountered numerous unacceptable conditions that made my accommodation experience unbearable. Upon arrival, I was shocked to discover an infestation of bugs throughout the property, including spiders on the bed and walls, as well as hives and flies in various areas. The overall cleanliness of the house was severely lacking, to the extent that I felt compelled to keep my shoes on at all times due to the unsanitary conditions, reminiscent of a hospital.
Regrettably, the situation did not improve as I continued my stay. Despite my efforts to address the issues, I was confronted with a persistent presence of insects, forcing me to kill over 30 different species during my short tenure. Additionally, the presence of restaurant equipment stored in bags further added to the unprofessional atmosphere of the property.
Moreover, the general state of disrepair and neglect in the surrounding area only exacerbated my concerns about the property's suitability for guests. The couch, in particular, emitted a foul odor and appeared to be in a state of disarray, reminiscent of items discarded in a dumpster. I had to sleep in my car mostly and don’t want to come back
