Coastal Wishes is a newly built home with 2 bespoke Suites.
Suite A is an apartment sized suite with everything you need, such as a full sized kitchen, laundry and comfortable beds with quality linen.
The view is breathtaking. Spend your mornings watching boats sail by, hummingbirds dart about, eagles soaring and the occasional deer. Life on the Coast is Bliss!
Steps from your door is our Hot Tub with an amazing ocean and forest view. The best soaking time is at 9 p.m. The last ferry sails past and the sun sets in a beautiful display of pinks and corals over Piers Island.
Just outside the Suite is a covered porch with fire table and BBQ.

Beautiful retreat

This was a relaxing, functional base as we worked on our boat nearby. A lot of thought & effort have gone into every detail here, making this a treat. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived & appreciate the hospitality! We’ll be back 😄

Relaxing. Gorgeous.

Kristen and Doug were great hosts. The attention to detail was great. They were quick to respond to any and all questions and offered help with local food options. They even offer a Tesla to rent! Everything was lovely. The view, the large hot tub, the firepit. We didn't want to leave!

Beautiful location

Lack of privacy when second unit is rented is the only concern. Other than the privacy issue a great location and very comfortable.

Doug and I are licenced builders on Vancouver Island. Our long standing dream has been to own a Bed and Breakfast. In 2019, our dream came true with building our forever home and we are excited to share it!
I also love to play Marimba! Come see my group Mufaro at the Sidney Market in the summer. Doug has a passion for cooking. Smoked Steelhead trout and scallops.Yum! Together we love to host company and share our passion for Vancouver Island.

Why they chose this property

Finding a property on Lands end Rd was a rare find. This property was initially tough to build on, but had so much potential! As Doug and I were building our dream home, our long standing dream of having a bed and Breakfast came to life. It has been a pleasure to design the house with 2 bespoke suites and see happy smiles from guests.
The view is beautiful and relaxing. Especially from the Hot Tub! Our property is private and surrounded by trees in a country setting. yet, it is only 7 min to Sidney, 10 min to the airport and 1 min to the ferry.
There is a reason I always say, "Life on the Coast is Bliss."
Every morning, we take our dogs down to a small beach near the house to collect shells. Saturdays bring an adventure at North Hill hiking trails, SeaCider for afternoon tastings or Surly Mermaid for short rib poutine.
Sunsets are beautiful and watching the ferry sail past is remarkable.
