Super cute space! It was cozy for the two of us! The hot tub was in excellent shape and super clean as well as the living space. The location was close to all of our outings and our host was very hospitable! Thank you for a great weekend!
The property is an oasis of beauty and peace! The hot tub was lovely, the yard has all sorts of areas for relaxation or gathering for cozy conversations. The landscaping was lovely and obviously has been many years in the making- I enjoyed mornings out enjoying all of it very much! Tonia was very responsive anytime we had a question or anything we needed and very friendly. She also has another unit on the property which is absolutely beautiful and each unit can be rented separately or both can be rented if you need extra space for your group.
We mainly booked and enjoyed our stay because it was quite, good hot tube, space for our dog to roam around, interesting things to looks at and cozy fireplace to enjoy. All in all we came back refreshed, host even offered longer stay but we had to get back and clean house after the power outages, otherwise we would have stayed longer :)
I would love to keep the Art Studio my little secret so I can keep it all to myself, but Tonia is such a nice person that I will do her a kindness by writing a review. It's an absolutely wonderful place especially if you have pets. It's very artsy, well-appointed & clean with Tonia's work posted throughout. There are French doors on two sides bordered by a lovely yard & garden big enough for our dogs to run & romp around. The fireplace makes it so cozy & warm if there's a chill. The neighborhood is full of historic homes, very walkable, with plenty of small eateries & shops. We loved it!
Very nice clean place to stay. We walked all over the neighborhood and to Coors Field. There were always many people and dogs out and about. We would stay again.

Thank you William, I enjoyed hosting you, your wife, and your amazing Zoe pup! Come back anytime.
We really loved everything about Tonia’s place. The location, her amazing art, the space and the dreamy outdoor space. She was a wonderful host and I’m so grateful her place was so accommodating for our two dogs.
Great little place to stay for my son and I while we explored the CO outdoors. Secure setting. Comfortable furniture and bedding. Nice air conditioning during warmer weather during our stay. Host addressed issues quickly as they came up. Host helped to pick up Amazon packages delivered to us at rental- thank you.Did not use hot tub but looked pretty nice.Nice backyard- see pics.Other: AS LISTED ON DESCRIPTION IN RENTAL AD... there is a simple and very functional kitchen though does not include oven (if you planned on baking). No dishwasher (not a big deal for us). If you needed a more formal kitchen, there is another rental on property. No laundry facilities- we went to laundry facility close by. Just a heads up if you were expecting these things or did not read ad carefully. Wifi was strongest in kitchen area (more direct line of sight for router), though spotty elsewhere in rental - host had just upgraded the wifi and was going to address this ASAP. Overall, great host, great rental. Very comfortable. Would be happy to return.FYI, lots of art on the walls, for sale if you are interested.

Thanks Kevin, it was a pleasure hosting you and your son, you picked a great time to be in Denver.
Sorry about the slow network on your cell phones. I was able to move around my mesh system and retest. The guest house is getting over 300mpbs in the main room and over 100 in the bedroom. This is consistent with the testing I was doing when you were here.
What i learned is that cell phone speeds shows slower than laptops/PCs because smartphones have smaller, less powerful internal network hardware optimized for saving battery rather than maximizing data throughput.
Hope this helps.
Loved the place - it was perfect for my 4 day stay in Denver. Close to grocery store, restaurants & bars, but quiet. Great yard, too! Will definitely return.
We had a great stay at Tonia's! The Steampunk studio was in a great location and well stocked. Walking distance from many restaurants and stores. Tonia was very communicative and accommodating of anything we needed.

Fantastic rental experience overall. Studio was just as described and spotless, with a gorgeous backyard. Safe, quiet neighborhood as well. Had great communication from the owner as well. Would be happy to rent again. Thanks!
Great location close to LoHi. Gorgeous property and yard. Lots of beautiful flowers and yard was beautiful. One of my favorite places I have ever stayed. Rocking porch swing, fire pits and hot tub. Cottage was darling with local artwork and some antiques that reminds you of your childhood. It’s simply Perfect! Can’t wait to stay here again!

Adorable and eclectic artist’s cottage in the historic Potter Highlands neighborhood— lovely yard and terrace, easy to get around the city from this location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Tonia was the most amazing host of the most amazing place. Fun and funky, great light, great location! The walkability of the neighborhood was awesome. Our pup enjoyed the big yard and we enjoyed breathing in respite with all the beauty both inside and outside this wonderfully unique place. We’ll be back!!!

About the host
Hosted by Tonia Zambrano
I am a sculptor, painter, and photographer. I write and pretend to be a good cook. I love to travel and try new things I've never done before.
Why they chose this property
This precious Victorian (main house) was built in 1880. It is a family home, bought in the 1970s. Potter Highlands was one of the original cities in old Denver back in the mid-1800s and was developed by Irish, Italian, and Scottish immigrants who moved here during the gold and silver rush. There's some amazing history in this very quaint neighborhood. It's a magical property, and it's located in a great city. There's so much to do in Denver and it's right at your fingertips from this central location.
What makes this property unique
As an artist, I have added artistic accents throughout the property, from the gated entry to the backyard oasis to the copper gutters with custom-made rain chains. I designed and built the additions, pergolas, custom millwork, fences, gates, etc. Everyone who comes here says they feel at home. I hope you will too.
