Enjoy breathtaking sunsets and views of the Banderas bay, sitting right beside the pools in this luxury, Puerto Vallarta getaway.

Nestled into the hillside, you'll enjoy tranquil surroundings, along with a vast array of birds and wildlife that you won't find by the water! When you rent this incredible condo, you'll feel like you are enjoying a jungle adventure, but with remarkable and distinctive views.

I want to be clear so there is no confusion at all should you book your stay here. While this place is walkable to and from the beach, about 20 mins or so... it is up a hill that has cobblestones and is quite steep to walk back up. Those with problems with mobility or in poor health will not be able to do it. It is not within a short walking distance to the Malecon even though it may seem so on the map. (at least 30 mins walking distance) The use of a taxi back (Uber is even cheaper and usually faster) and forth will be necessary depending on where you go and who you are, for part or possibly all of your stay.

At night the view transforms into an amazing, twinkling array of city lights around the bay, looking towards Nuevo Vallarta. This unique location lets you experience Puerto Vallarta more like the locals do as it's just far enough from the crowded tourist areas to find peace and tranquility when you crave it. From the condo, you can simply walk down the street when you feel like getting out and about to unique shopping, small, locally owned convenience stores and restaurants you won't find in other areas.

The Condo Itself
This quiet and spacious, air conditioned condo has all the amenities you could possibly need during your stay, including a full size washer and dryer, a lovely kitchen with all the necessities including coffee maker, microwave and convection oven. There’s also a large screen TV with DVD player, music player and free Wi-Fi for those peaceful moments when you prefer to stay in and enjoy the condo. There's also an outdoor BBQ grill complete with gas tanks and ready to use. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a large Jacuzzi tub and shower too! The guest bedroom features a poolside/bay view. There's also a guest bathroom right next to it, complete with a beautiful marble enclosed walk in shower. The condo building itself is small and there are only 10 units in the building. The pool area is hardly used by the rest of the tenants so you will likely have it to yourselves much of the time!

Amenities
Special amenities include a hair dryer and straightener, clothing steamer, bath soap, shampoo and conditioner and safe is provided for each room as well. Also supplied are a variety of condiments for your convenience as well as a supply of coffee, creamer and other cooking essentials including spices, cooking oil and more.

Puerto Vallarta is a renowned resort town, known for its pristine beaches, endless variety of water sports, vibrant nightlife scene and historical landmarks. In its charming, cobblestoned historic center you'll find the magnificent Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe church, a wide variety of restaurants, bars and boutiques. El Malecón is a wonderful beachside promenade with impressive contemporary sculptures, along with nightclubs, lounges and bars that become quite lively as the sun sets. There's also a golf course just 7.9 Kilometres away (Marina Vallarta Club de Golf).

The condo was perfect. Great host and great property managers. Clean, quiet, great view and pool, just what we wanted. Close to town and good fish and fruit markets, easy walk to beach and Malecon. However, the listing is accurate in that it is a STEEP walk back up the hill. We didn't mind but someone with limited mobility would not do well. Uber was super reasonable and we used it a couple times after grocery shopping.

Great family condo!

Me & my family of 4 stayed at the beautiful condo for a week & it was equipped with everything we needed! The view is amazing, the only complaint would be that the sun isn’t on the pool area for most of the morning which would have been better but we made it work! Would definitely recommend!

The condo is exactly as advertised. Very quiet. The only outside noise were the birds, roosters and some dogs barking. Everything in the condo was in working order, showers were good, beds were comfortable. We had the pool to ourselves for the entire 2 weeks which was nice. It is quite high up so for the most part a cab is necessary to get back up. The market is only a 5 minute walk. The view was very nice and saw quite a few whales from the balcony.

Firstly, I booked this condo last minute when we decided we wanted to arrive sooner to PV then originally planned and the host made it work for us. The home and the location were exactly as described in the description so no surprises which is awesome. Any questions or needs were addressed immediately and you knew the host really wants her guests to have a great experience. It is true the sun doesn’t hit the pool deck until late in the afternoon, which is the only negative, but then again I knew that before booking. If you want peace and quiet this is definitely the place and if you want to get out and about it’s only a cheap Uber ride away!

Beautiful Views

It is a lovely little property. The view was amazing , the beds comfortable and the airflow through the condo meant we never needed the air conditioner or fans. Layce and Alexandra from Su Casa Property Solutions were excellent to deal with. I would suggest, Marlena, that in future if your property manager is on vacation you provide the requested information yourself. It made me feel uneasy that after several requests and just days before I got there I still did not have a local contact or know how I was supposed to get the keys.

Sanctuary in Puerto Vallarta

My family, including two kids, loved staying in this perfect secluded location last week, only within a few minutes drive from all the action Puerto Vallarta has to offer. We really appreciated having our own parking spot, but a taxi makes for an easy commute. The building is very secure and nicely maintained by the grounds keepers. We felt very safe the whole time. The condo is spacious, with tons of closet space. The amenities are very nice, including a hand steamer for clothes. It's the little things. There was the bonus of finding a queen size Aero bed for additional sleep options, which we very much appreciated. The beds are super comfortable, with plenty of sheets, blankets and nice towels for bathing and beach. The owner, Marlena, and property management company were extremely nice and attentive. We really had everything we needed for a home away from home.

View of Banderas Bay Stunning

This was a very nice Property, we rented for 6 weeks, it is located in the 5 december area, It is up the hill so be prepared to either walk it or Uber it. About a 15 min Walk down, however I have back and knee issues so walking up was just not for me. It is a very quiet location, Host and Management company were awesome to deal with. If you need anything just reach out to Layce or Marlena and they will help to accommodate. The pool is lovely when it gets sun. We found ourselves spending more time down at the beach, A complex of 10 units only. Taxi Drivers don't really know where the complex is, so I do suggest Uber and it is much cheaper than the Taxi. We were allowed to smoke on the Patio Unit only which was just perfect for us. I probably could keep going, nothing to say negative about the property. Just enjoy the beautiful culture Mexico has to offer.

A nice visit.

I just spent a week in this condo over the Christmas holidays with my wife and two children. (19 and 21) The condo is laid out very well and has everything one needs. We had some meals in the condo including a BBQ and all was good. The view is spectacular but the hill to get back and forth from the Malecon boardwalk and beach is very steep. My wife and I did it many times but we are very fit and love to walk. I would expect most people would take a taxi up and down the hill. (about 70 pesos) We were disappointed the pool heater was not working and it was too cold to swim in. Also the safe did not work (too old) and the owner was working on getting it replaced. The owner is very helpful but lives in the USA. Overall a nice experience.

Not what we were expecting

First the family of the cleaning lady were there in the condo, no masks (adult male and a child), the floors were sandy and the sheets on one of the beds were not changes and were dirty...(gross). Also, there was no toilet paper, we had to walk 20 minutes to purchase our own, and the bath towels were still wet. The refrigerator was messy too. The 12 minutes walk (as advertised) to the beach one way is actually 20 minutes, all down hill, but the return is 30 minutes all up hill. We would never stay there again and will not recommend it either. Over all not worth the money we paid.

Lovely Stay with Great Hosts

My partner and I stayed at this property from Christmas to New Year’s Day. The view is lovely with lush vegetation around the deck. Walking right out to the pool is a huge plus - although it’s quite cold it was extremely refreshing for a wake up swim in the morning or to cool down after a walk. As noted in the property description, this is up the hill. The walk is steep, but I actually loved that as it was great exercise and made me feel less guilty about all the delicious food and drinks we were having. This is *actual* Mexico, so there is a broad spectrum of economic demographics represented. You have very high end homes mixed with some poverty, which is to be expected. At no point did we feel unsafe. The neighbours in the building could not be nicer. They are quick to volunteer tips and tricks to make the most of your stay. All lovely people and we are so happy we met them. The building manager and maintenance man are also very friendly and helpful. One of the best taco places in PV (Pepe’s) is a few blocks down the hill, and the beach is a 7 minute walk straight down. It’s very easy to navigate the area if you walk straight down to the main drag. It’s not far to the Malecon, and if you like to walk (which we do) you can venture through to Centro and the Romantic Zone for phenomenal shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. It is very quiet and relaxing at the condo, as it’s removed from traffic and nightlife that can disturb you in some of the properties closer to the beach. We prefer the more southern neighbourhoods, like 5th of Diciembre, Centro, and Romantic Zone- which are all easy to reach with Uber, or walk down to the main drag and immediately get a taxi. The Property Manager, Layce, is smart and professional- as well as bilingual. Checking in was a breeze, and we knew she was always easy to reach if anything was ever needed. The condo owner is attentive as well, and went out of her way to ensure we were happy and had a positive experience. We very much enjoyed our stay here, and my butt looks great from the incline walk. Wins all around!

Pool with a view

We checked in New Year’s Eve and witnessed the most spectacular firework show I’ve ever seen, it was simply amazing. We frequently ubered but also ensured we walked down every day or two. It was incredible just how high up it is. The pool was fantastic and we pretty much had all to ourself. The first few days of trip it seemed the sun only hit the deck 30 minutes a day and when we left the sun was a bit higher to clear the building and trees and was out for 90 minutes. I should note this worked out great for our family as we wanted shade from sun. The building was suffering major plumbing issues. The master bedroom near sink and bathtub smelled of sewage. I emailed and texted owner but received no reply. We left wet cloths over the drains which solved the smell issue for our unit. My parents stayed in the neighboring unit which was actually worse. They had sewage dripping out of the air conditioner down the wall onto the floor. Having a reply from the owner would have been nice. I enjoyed my stay and would return again. As noted by other posts the unit did seem to be lacking essentials. We purchased and left behind vegetable pealer, set of vegetable / fruit trays and steak knives.

Fantastic Condo!

This condo is perfect. It's spacious and has everything you could possibly need. The view is amazing. Uber is very convenient and quick. Only $3-4 to get to the Malecon and surrounding area. I was disappointed that due to the time of the year we stayed at the condo (Over Christmas), the pool did not get any sun exposure at all. And it was not heated. There was very limited sun on the whole pool deck, which was not what we expected. Our intent for the entire stay was to lounge around and in the pool - but that was not an option, as it was too cold. Also there is no cable TV, but you can stream Netflix etc. There were some repairs being done to a sewage problem in the unit across from us, and I felt the building management should have communicated what was happening and also worked to contain/dissipate the odor that forced us to stay inside the unit for an afternoon/evening.

Nice property high in the hills

We had a very nice 2 week stay in Marlena’s condo. She describes it’s location accurately as being high up steep hills and walkable only for the hardy. The condo is on the first floor but street level is the 3rd floor. Taxis and Uber are readily available but suggest you get acquainted with the area as both types of rides got lost and had to use my phone to get us to the correct location. If coming in off the tunnel road, turn right after the cemetery. I have asked and was told that written instructions are in process for phone and tv operation. Ramon, who spends 3-4 hours working there, was able to give us a # to call for taxis but he only speaks Spanish and we were lucky someone was there to translate for us. There is no cable, only Internet and got a message about setup not very secure. The new gas grill is great and please turn off the gas when done using as there are NO exchanges available. The new building manager accommodated us but he had to travel a long distance to get it refilled. If you need the large water bottle refilled, the truck stops by every M-W-F per one of the owners. As nice as the location and view was, we feel it is not the best location for us in our late 70’s. Thanks for making your unit available to us and we know others will enjoy being away from the mainstream of activity and having quiet nights for sleeping. Marlena was quick to respond to our questions.

Quiet get away

Once we got oriented to the property, we grew to love it! It was quiet with a beautiful view. We loved that, when we went downtown, we were walking through neighborhoods of Mexican families and not drunk tourists. It did take us a little time to figure out the best way to get downtown and back again. The stairway is definitely the best way to go, and they were hard to find. A hand-drawn map with directions to the stairs would have been helpful. The family that lives upstairs has 4 dogs that were quiet 95% of the time, but they did go a bit crazy every time my kids went in the pool. That was the only drawback.

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful VRBO! This property give us the opportunity to have an authentic Mexican experience! What a beautiful condo this is, furnished with everything we needed and then some! It is true that it is located on top of a very steep hill, but the utilizing the taxi services are absolutely no problem. This can truly feel like a home away from home! And the owner did a great job with preparing us and her place for a great stay and a positive experience! We will definitely stay there again! Thank you for the hospitality!

Lovely Place

Very fine condo and serviced well by owner and concierge. Very nice view from the patio and a delight to have the pool immediately beyond our patio gate! Now, it is quite a walk from the malecon to the condo, but taxi service is good, and the exercise is good if that's part of your program. It's great to get away from the relative noise of downtown to the quiet up the mountain; but there are a few sometimes noisy dogs in neighboring condos. Over-all, ours was a fine experience!

Nice apartment but a long way up the hill

The apartment is very nice and quite nicely appointed. The pool area has just been renovated and is very pleasant. Although the pool is shared by all the units (there are 5 or 6 units) it is mostly unused and almost a private pool. The pool is supposedly heated but since it gets very little sun (at least over the period when we were there (Dec and Jan) it could do with a little more heating. Be aware that this condo is located far up in the hills above the 5 de deciembre district. For even the healthiest people this is a very difficult climb so you end up taking taxis (cheap). Even walking down requires 20 minutes or so to reach the beach and downtown areas. It does however have a brilliant view of the bay. Lastly, Marlena, the owner, was extremely responsive and accomodating and the company that manages the property was also great.

I had a wonderful girls trip to this awesome condo. It was nestled on a hill side a short cab drive to downtown and the Malacon. The condo was in a secure building with nicely mantained grounds. The pool was newly re-done. The pool was right out the patio door. It was very quiet and peaceful and most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. The condo was well stocked with bedding, towels, purified drinking water, condiments, pool toys, net flix movies, wifi, washer and dryer and much, much more. Marlena, the owner, was very accomidating. She gave us great ideas of different outing to go on. I highly recommend this wonderful condo up in the hills.

PEACEFUL!!!

It was a great place to stay away from the loud streets closer to the beach. Even though it is on top of a steep hill, it is worth the driving to relax after a long day. Great views of the beach and trees around it. We loved sitting in the porch right next to the pool enjoying the views and calmness of the place. You don't get wifi in the master bedroom but you do in the rest of the house. They have good detergent, kitchen soap, condiments, a variety of teas, and other things that we didn't need to buy. You'll really enjoy the peacefulness of the place. Most of the other tenants were not there at the time. So, you'll most likely have the pool to yourselves most of the time.

Wonderful condo and location!

I chose this area and fell in love with Puerto Vallarta after my first visit with my family about 12 years ago. We had an amazing time and enjoyed the endless array of outdoor activities in the area, loved the friendly people we met, as well as the amazing food, not to be found anywhere else in Mexico! I knew this property was unique when I first saw it, after spending a weekend viewing many properties this one had everything I wanted in a location and the beautiful interior with attention to details is what sold me! Also, I have stayed at places nearer to the hotel zone and the Malecon. And while closer to the action, they were also much more noisy and I found sleep difficult due to the roar and thumping of the nightclubs and the bustle of the tourist zones. This place was close enough to everything, yet far enough to enjoy the beauty of the area, along with some serenity and also the nightlife when I wish!

What makes this property unique

First of all, the view is just amazing during the day but is also truly stunning at night! The pool is simply steps away with access from the patio which is where I just love to spend most of my time while I visit here. Tile floors, marble counters in the kitchen and the stone work in the living room are also very nice touches high in quality that I loved. The view from the guest bedroom is lovely and wonderful to wake up to, just walk out the sliding glass doors and greet the morning with a view!
