About this property

Luxury Ski or Hiking retreat- 2 KING beds and more!

Experience Aspen tree surroundings in this roomy log cabin-style home within skiing (or walking) distance of the Canyons! This two-story luxury townhome offers over 1900 square feet of living space and the best location in the Timber Wolf community, instantly transporting you to a peaceful place, close to skiing, miles of hiking and biking trails and everything you need, yet remote enough to feel like a real getaway. This is a unique and perfect setting for every season for families, couples, retreata, skiers and groups who want to explore all of the beauty and recreation that Park City has to offer. Our location is prime, nestled among a grove of Aspen trees framing mountain views and a running stream that curves around the property. Wildlife abound frequently in view from every large window throughout the home.

The family room features a stone fireplace, cozy new leather furniture, pillows and throws for extra comfort, board games, a 55' flat screen HDTV and Bluetooth sound system.

Enjoy a chef's kitchen where you'll find granite countertops, stainless steel appliances including a brand new refrigerator/freezer, gas range, pots, pans, crock pots, blender, microwave, two coffee makers, toaster, toaster oven, everything in terms of baking utensils and supplies, spices and condiments, plastic storage containers, salad spinner, blender, mixer, hot water kettle, placemats plus two full sets of dishes and glasses. Perfect for entertaining!

Step out onto the private deck perched among majestic Aspen shade trees, set up for intimate dining, birdwatching, reading or grilling on the propane BBQ.

Tasteful wall art throughout includes a 12' aspen photo in the 22-foot stairwell, and the three bathrooms feature luxurious towels, skin and hair products and blow dryers. There is an indoor washer and dryer too.

The three large bedrooms all feature vaulted ceilings. There are two new Hi def smart TVs upstairs. The massive Master bedroom offers a king bed wth high-quality mattress. An oversized leather chair invites guests to relax and read or enjoy the view of the woods and stream below. The private master bath was remodeled in 2024 with a walk-in shower, new porcelain flooring and quartz countertops. The second bedroom features a brand new king bed and shares a bath with the third bedroom, which offers a full bed and two twin beds. All beds are comfortable with 100% cotton linens and new comforters. A Pack and Play and queen air mattress are onsite as well! Simply let us know if you need it, and our property manager will put it out for you.

Timber Wolf is an intimate and one-of-a kind community comprised of only 12 3-unit log townhomes with many full-time residents onsite, so you can be assured that your stay will offer peaceful nights and friendly neighbors. Unlike a lot of densely planned communities in the area, you will have access to shaded parklike grounds and private views from every window. Our particular home enjoys the best location, as it is situated in the back corner with an idyllic view of the nearby Canyons mountainside, not to mention the stream that wraps itself around our property and the mature grove of Aspen trees giving guests the experience of living within a wooded forest. And although you think you've escaped to another world, you will actually be just a short walk away from the Canyons cabriolet leading to ski lifts, the Canyons Lodge, Waldorf Astoria and 400 miles of mountain biking and hiking trails located just beyond the property! Take a short walk for coffee or a treat at the local historic Garden Cafe, Gift Shop and Park City Nursery.
And when you're done with a day of skiing or exploring the nearby shops at Kimball Junction or the galleries along Park City's Main Street, come home to soak in one of the community's two preheated hot tubs or warm up at the outdoor fire pit, There are gazebos for picnicking, lush wooded surroundings for exploring, secured underground parking for one designated guest and additional outdoor parking, Winters offer private ski storage, kids snow toys and easy Canyons Cabriolet gondola and hiking and biking. Wildlife abounds everywhere, and moose spotting is not out of the ordinary (we found a baby moose drinking from the stream just a few feet from our front door!).

We are located just off the main road near Park City's free shuttle stop, which will take you to the Canyons, Kimball Junction, Park City ski resort or Old Town Park City, less than 3 miles away. Plus, you will find yourself a short walk away (take the trail along the fence behind the property) from The Canyons gondola (open year round) for skiing in the winter and hiking and biking in the spring, summer and fall. And since 2016, The Canyons resort and Park City Mountain Resort are connected, creating the largest ski resort in North America! Olympic Park is nearby for inner-tube/sledding adventures, year-round ski jump exhibitions, zip-lining, rope obstacle courses and the luge. Snowshoe and cross country ski on nearby trails. Ski the Canyons, Park City and Deer Valley Resorts in the winter, or take your bike up the lifts in the summer or autumn and ride down. Grocery shopping and amazing restaurants are super convenient. Exploring options include fly fishing, rafting, canyoning, fishing at a trout farm for the kids, rock climbing, hiking, biking in the summer and winter sports include skiing, inner tubing, snowmobiling, snow-shoeing, dog-sledding, cross country skiing, soaking in warm mineral hot springs inside a real crater, and more!

It's all here! Any time of the year, this is the ideal place to unwind, recreate and make memories. Perfect for two families with children and roomy for couples and relaxing retreats.

We are a family who has always dreamed of having a place in the mountains. And now that we do, we'd like our friends, family and anyone who is looking for a wonderful place to vacation to enjoy our special city-close woodsy getaway. Welcome!

Why they chose this property

This area is the "best of the best!" It's so easy to fly into from anywhere and a mere 30 minutes' drive to the slopes from the airport! Vail Resorts also just purchased the Canyons ski resort and in 2016 has connected it to Park City Ski Resort and others to create America's largest ski resort! We can walk to the gondola that takes you up to the Canyons base and ski lodge from our property. The Park City and Canyons areas enjoy a well-run community that has everything one could hope for when looking for a memorable vacation. At approximately 6900 ft, the elevation is not as high as a lot of other resort communities, which makes for easy acclimating. The roads are well-maintained during the winter and the snow is like no other place on earth. There is a lot to do here every season of the year from festivals (including the ever famous Sundance Festival) to fly fishing, biking, hiking, rafting, skiing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing or just relaxing in cozy surroundings and doing nothing at all!

What makes this property unique

We knew we'd made the right choice after looking for a long time at many surrounding areas and condos, when we were visited by a baby moose right outside our front doorstep the first day after we bought this condo. He was there to drink out of our stream, and welcome us to the neighborhood, of course! The former owners took impeccable care of the place and it was (and still is) in great shape. Built in 2000, it is newer than a lot of places in town, and it includes a lot of upgrades and amenities. Sit for a spell on the forested back porch and relax for a while. Maybe a moose will welcome you. too!
