Great little place to stay, only negative was no off street parking which was pain during the day as the car yard next door takes it all up with there cars.
The Old Bakery cottage was very comfy! A step back in time! Lovely as a place close to everything, with easy parking on the road! No mod cons! Clean and well stocked! Would have appreciated a hairdryer, as had travelled from overseas! Had to purchase one!
Great little place to stay for a brief visit. Very clean and tidy and well presented. My only criticims are that there was no microwave, which, to me, is an essential when you're on the move, and that the single bed only had a foam type mattress, which killed my back. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay there
Awesome spot for a couple of nights in Christchurch without having to be in town. We walked and Ubered with no issues. Place was very comfortable and had all we needed. Would stay here again.
Lovely cosy cottage with a well equipped kitchen. The location is excellent, being within a short walk of supermarket, laundromat, takeaways, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend as a great Christchurch base.
The Old Bakery provides superb comfortable accommodation in a period cottage close to the central district of Christchurch. It is ideally situated to the main bus transport links into the city centre and to the airport. The amenities and furnishings are very comfortable which makes this a perfect place for a break in the city. I would recommend the Old Bakery to anyone looking for accommodation in Christchurch.
Great communication from host, cottage was in an excellent location and very quiet. We really appreciated the very pretty, enclosed garden for early morning coffee before very busy days. Have already recommended to friends.
Cozy comfortable and charming cottage. Steeped in history, has everything you could need. Great communication with host the whole process. Lovely garden also. Close to public transport and shops.
