Loire Escapes - Self-Catering Gites

The property has two air-conditioned, self-catering gites and is situated in the French countryside and vineyards
Gite 1 - 11th Century and all on one level, sleeps 6 people in two bedrooms - 1 King Size Bedroom and 1 Twin, 1 sofa-bed family Italian shower room, fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer.
Gite 2 - Larger barn sleeps up to 12 - 2 King Size Bedrooms (One En-Suite), 1 Twin room, 1 Family room (Double + 2 Singles) and Airbeds , family bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and downstairs toilet.
Heated pool, and cocktail bar on-site for guests.
The barns can be rented together or separately.
Owners live on-site and are available at any time whilst respecting your privacy.
A great place to explore the Loire Valley vineyards and chateaux. Family-friendly, hen and stags welcome. Great meeting point for friends and family in middle France. LBGT friendly.
The pool is open May to September heated to a minimum of 24 degrees.
Breakfast can be supplied with 24 hours notice at an extra charge
Organise wine tasting at the local vineyard.
There is a cocktail bar on-site open at guests request, the owners serve you.
Children's paddling pool can be supplied.
COVID-19 This property has a separate entrance and allows you access without contact with others.
2021 will see a newly renovated pool.
Note we have domestic cats that live with us on-site

Les 2 gites mitoyens sont très grands, très bien équipés. La piscine est très grande, chauffée, sécurisée. Propriétaires charmants. Joli coin de campagne. Nous avons passé un excellent week-end entre amis et reviendrons avec plaisir !

Nous nous excusons pour le lave-vaisselle qui ne fonctionne pas, mais celui-ci s’est effondré pour les clients précédents et j’ai dû commander une nouvelle pièce pour le remplacer. Toutes les pièces ont maintenant été reçues, ajustées et fonctionnent. Nous aimerions tous vous revoir.

La maison est géniale ! les chambres sont très grandes, c'est propre, 2 super salons ! On a pu profiter des 2 terrasses, Idem pour la piscine il y a de la place pour tout le monde autour. Andy est génial, toujours à votre disposition et hyper serviable. Franchement rien à dire, nous avons passé un super week-end et nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci beaucoup Andy pour ce séjour !

Rien à redire sur les gites (superbes , grands et fonctionnels) , ni sur l'extérieur (tout à disposition au plus près avec la terasse , le barbecue , la piscine ...) . Nous sommes tous ravis de ce week-end et vous remercions pour voter accueil , vous etes des hotes formidables . Nous avons déjà hate d'etre à l'année prochaine pour revenir chez vous . ps : nous avons emmené par inadvertence le chargeur de portable , nous vous le rammènerons quand on reviendra . Agréable séjour

Nous avons réservé ce gîte pour un week-end entre amis à côté de Saumur. Le gîte est conforme à la description, les propriétaires sont accueillant et ont répondu à nos questions/demandes. Notre séjour c'est don bien déroulé. Je recommande cet établissement aux personnes souhaitant être au calme pas loin de Saumur et de ses environs. Cédric

Andy bought the property in 2004 as two dilapidated barns one housing an owl neither will 4 walls or a roof!
Andy saw the potential to create a tranquil haven in the tiny hamlet. Andy opened for business in summer 2006.
Tee joined Andy in February 2019 starting their new life in France on Valentine's day, since then they have welcomed many guests.
