Such a beautiful stay — it truly felt like a cozy tree cabin which was built from the local trees years ago. Conveniently close to shops, yet perfectly quiet and private. Richard was such a warm host — I was greeted with a lovely welcome sign, wine, and chocolates! Communication was easy and smooth throughout. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful property. The house itself was stunning and reminiscent of a log cabin. The fireplace was perfect for cold winter nights. The Garden was also gorgeous. Absolutely recommend if you're looking for a secluded nature escape!

The Lodge was the perfect getaway for my partner and I. From the rustic wooden cottage, cool trinkets, beautiful gardens, open fireplace and proximity to town - you can't go past Richards amazing accommodation. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet break in a spectacular bush setting.

It was an awesome little place for someone looking to get away from their busy city life. There is no internet but if you prepare ahead you will be fine. It has everything you need and is very close to the village.

The place was wonderful. The fireplace was very effective with all the wood chopped perfectly to fit in the fireplace. The location is just far enough away from the centre of town to give privacy. Also, it was wonderful seeing the frogs and hearing the lyrebird sing in the morning. Definitely coming back
