very nice
Very relaxing stay. Would like check in a bit earlier and/or check out a bit later to allow more down time.Gate code access a bit dicey and panel lock on front door only worked once, so we had to come and go from the back door.

Great Space on the Lake
This house was as great as advertised. The space was large, clean, and right on the lake which is absolutely beautiful. We easily fit 4 guys who all needed their own space. I would highly recommend.
This property was a perfect stay. I appreciated the communication the week before and the clarity regarding clean-up afterward. The house & lake were delightful, and I would absolutely stay there again. Thanks so much!

Weekend Getaway
We loved the view of the lake, beds were comfortable and upstairs fireplace added to coziness of the space. The downstairs will door window could use blinds or a drape to cover it up. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay. We would stay there again.
We really had a great trip, the house was nice and the lake was beautiful. Fall foliage on full display with the bonus reflecting off the lake. Canoe was good but couldn’t fit the 4 of us. We got sunsets and even a moonrise. The decks were nice, dock was nice, great place for a escape

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
We had a wonderful experience and the location of the home on the lake was beautiful. The house itself was adorable and had a nice layout. However, it had an odor upon arrival. It appeared to be a combination of dog/pets and febreze or some sort of air odorizer. The downstairs area smelled musty. My sinus and allergies were haywire all weekend. In addition, the house needed updating and was not clean. For a 200 cleaning fee charge, I expected it to be in better condition. The owner was quick to respond and was very professional in every way. Again, beautiful property but just slightly disappointed in what we got for the cost.
Had the best family vacation with my husband, two sons and my parents. There was plenty of room in the house for all of us. We loved fishing off the dock and having the fire pit to make s’mores. We used the Island pool 3 times during our stay and it was perfect for the kids and adults. They even had a little snack stand there but you could bring your own food into the pool area as well. Definitely would recommend this house and the Arrowhead community to anyone trying to have a relaxing family getaway.
Yash was great at communicating beforehand what was expected. The pictures were a little deceiving, as the house was a little smaller than we expected. However, it was clean and comfortable. The property sits right on the lake and there were kayaks to enjoy. There was not central air, but luckily it was a cool weekend. Overall, we had a blast.
We had a couples weekend getaway at this home, and it was more than accommodating! Being that there were only 2 couples, we were able to spread out for privacy. There were a few things that were confusing in the home/community, but the host was very responsive and helpful. The view of the lake from downstairs was absolutely breath taking! Very peaceful and quiet surrounding the home, cute little chipmunks running around. There were extra fishing poles/equipment for our use, however we brought our own. Would definitely stay again! Thank you so much for everything
This house is located right on the lake. The backyard consists of the lake, a private dock for fishing, three kayaks and a fire pit for S’mores. The house was clean and had all the amenities you need for your stay. The kitchen was well stocked. The house did not have central air-conditioning But there was a wall Unit and every bedroom. We stayed in August and did not even turn the air conditioners on because of the cool Pennsylvania air.. The property is located in a gated community and included amenities such as three pools, tennis courts for Pickleball or tennis, basketball court and volleyball court. The property also has three private beaches and pool tables and ping-pong tables in the community center. I highly recommend this house for its location and plenty of things to keep you and your family busy. I loved Waking up every morning, having coffee on the deck overlooking the lake and fishing off their private dock.
Our weekend getaway to this lake house was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the beauty of the lake, snow and the cozy charm of the house itself. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The property owner was incredibly hospitable and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was comfortable. Their attention to detail and prompt communication made the entire booking process seamless.
Inside the house, we found all the amenities we could ask for. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals, the living spaces were inviting and cozy, and the bedrooms provided a peaceful retreat after a day of activities. Whether we wanted to curl up by the fireplace or enjoy a family game night, the house offered everything we needed for a relaxing weekend.
The community surrounding the lake was vibrant and filled with opportunities for fun and adventure. We especially enjoyed ceramics at the lodge, sledding and a day of tubing at nearby Camelback.
Overall, our experience at this lake house exceeded our expectations AGAIN as this was our second visit over the years. We’d love to come back to enjoy the lake in warmer months. It's the perfect destination for anyone looking to escape with family. We can't wait to return for another unforgettable getaway.
Both interior fireplaces (2) didn't work. All outdoor chairs were broken. Sofa was severely stained and in gross condition. Ladder on bunk bend was not secured and was damaged. No shower curtain in bathroom. The house overall was not in the condition described in the listing. I reached out to owner immediately regarding these matters, his response was that previous tenants had not taken care of the property and didn't take any ownership for the situation. Additionally, he didn't resolve any issue other than dropping off a shower curtain. The property was misrepresented on the website and issues were not handled properly. Owner offered financial compensation due to issues with our stay, but didn't follow through and told me to reach out to VRBO. We will not be staying here again and this stay was unacceptable.

Hi Frank, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - After hearing your feedback, we further investigated your concerns with both fireplaces and both were found to be working perfectly and believe this may have been an operator error.- As you mentioned, it is unfortunate that the previous guest did not respect our home, and damages occurred during their stay. The sofa has since been thoroughly cleaned and added a new sofa cover.- In regard to the outdoor chairs. We are aware there was some outside furniture that was damaged, we had intentionally stored these behind the shed, and they were not intended for guest use. Other outdoor furniture was provided and set up ready for your arrival. Additionally, the ladder to the bunk bed is not damaged, and although you are correct, it is not secured to the frame of the bed, this is the specific design of the bed and is displayed as its design is intended to be, but we're sorry if this caused you any concern. - We sincerely apologize and hope that the measures taken made up for any inconvenience you may have encountered during your stay. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
This was perfect for the three of us celebrating our 50th birthdays. Being on the lake was exactly what we wanted, and this property and setting were perfect. There are some extra fees for being a gated community, but if you're ok with those this place was perfect. We were off season, so we didn't use any of the amenities of the community. The house itself was clean and as advertised. The owner was responsive to questions. Highly recommend for an adult getaway and this property would also suit a family well. We mostly stayed at the cabin, but we did venture out for a short hike one day and had a couple of good meals at Murph's Hideaway.
The house was great for a short summer family getaway and right on the lake with a dock. The house itself had a great backyard, decent sized rooms, and a decently stocked kitchen. The rental manager was responsive when we noticed a large tree limb that was only precariously attached to a tree on the property and had someone out to address the issue quickly. We saw cool wildlife in the lake and the surrounding area. The community has three outdoor pools, tennis and pickle ball courts, pool tables, and kayak rentals available. Unfortunately, these amenities (besides the courts) are only open on Saturday and Sunday before June 19th. You will still have to pay for a wristband for each person, even for the days that the majority of services are NOT available.
My family and I loved our time together at this location. Communication with Brian was proactive, easy and without any delay. He provided a lot of helpful recommendations and easy to follow instructions. We enjoyed the area and we were able to eat breakfast out, purchase groceries close by and cook dinners at the house. The neighbors on either side were very quiet and didn’t even look our way. A couple of standing lamps strategically placed throughout the living/dining area would help with the low lighting in the evenings but the natural light and views during the day was bright and inviting. We were so close to the water and got to sit around a fire and have s’mores at night. I would recommend.
Planned this trip last minute, felt as if my family of 5 needed to just get away disconnect and reconnect. I have a couple of teens and a 5 year old, everyone had a great time. The down stairs was a great space for the big kids to still have their space and stay up late. Was hoping for beautiful weather as April is hit or miss.... we had one day where we were able to sit around the firepit, make Smores and fish and it was perfect! The owner was OK with me hiding some Easter Eggs so you may come across a couple oneday. The rest of our weekend rained and snowed but having that view and the fireplace lit, made it fine. The house had everything we could have asked for and not too far was a Dollar General and a Wawa which is perfect if you happened to need anything! We would love to come back!! We will always remember the LAKEHOUSE
