About this property

Beautiful, Light-filled Historic Home in the Avenues, Central Hyde Park

Light-filled, spacious, historic Central Austin home (over 1800 sq ft with highs ceilings, wood floors and fans throughout) located in peaceful Hyde Park, minutes from UT campus and downtown. Available from April 2018 for 30+ day stays.

The house is well maintained and has all modern amenities including central air and heat, washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc. There are high ceilings and many large windows to let the light in. There is also a laundry room, a wonderful kitchen with a dining area, a covered front porch (with a swing!) and a large backyard.

The location is ideal for guests visiting the University as it is only 1.5 miles from campus. It is a very nice 10-minute bike ride to the main University campus and not much more if you want to bike it to the river downtown. The J. J. Pickle Research Campus on Burnet Road is also easily accessible as well as the tech companies just north of the central neighborhood of Hyde Park.
