We stayed several days; relaxing and looking over the lake really fit the bill.

Great stay!
Spent three days with my two adult children enjoying the beautiful weather on the lake. The cabin feel was amazing and the house was perfectly set up and very clean. Will definitely return!
Keystone Heights is a wonderful small town and this Lakefront cabin is a gem. It was perfect for the family to enjoy quality time together but also able to spread out for solitary moments. The view and the back porch can’t be beat!
Very quiet ,area in January. Rustic, scenic view of the lake. Worked great for what we wanted to do in the area.

Lake House
The house needs at least one handicap toilet, the toilet by the kitchen is loose so I would change that one. Other than that the house was nice and the family enjoyed the stay.

Nice. Very nice. Growing up across the road from Lake Hutchinson, on Lake Opal, 1964-1974, made the visit to Lake Hutchinson nostalgic to say the least. Beautiful place & great amenities here. The Lake Hutchinson views and the Spanish Moss waving in the Oak trees rekindled fond memories - while sitting indoors, watching the sunrise from bed, or sitting outdoors on the deck. Unfortunately, it was cold outside, but the cabin is well heated. I’ll be back.
We enjoyed our stay. We loved the screen porch and deck, beautiful sunrise view of the lake. However, it seems that no one had pulled maintenance for awhile. Several things didn't work, deck lighting, fan in the second bedroom, hairdryer, kitchen outlets. Would have been nicer if everything had been functioning.
This property was just as advertised. It was clean and in order when we arrived. No issues with check in. WiFi, air conditioner and all electrical appliances worked (hey, you just never know!)
Only advice I would offer is to bring your own water toys. Kayaks, canoes or boats. It gets a little too still around the cabin without them if you know what I mean. Lol 🤪
Good stay. Would stay again.
Property was nicely maintained. House was nice with good quality furniture and a cold A/C (important in FL). The lake was beautiful and neighbor friendly. Cleaning crew was a little sloppy (dishes weren’t clean and zero extra toilet paper). I tried several times to reach the management team but they did not respond.
Our stay at this lake house was for a sporting event my children participated in nearby. We were very busy. This was such a great place to start each day and end each day.
Sunrises from across the lake which can spectacular views each morning. The back deck was so nice to grill and have meals.
I do wish this house had a washer and dryer. This was the first time I have stayed in a rental without (but did not check the listing) and packed thinking I would be able to do laundry like I normally do.

We stayed at this property last year and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The property was just as clean this year as last. The lake front water area had been cleaned out a bit more this year so there was very little grassy-water area which made it easier to navigate.
There were some disappointing aspects this year that we did not experience last year: The Living Area TV did not work so we had to move a TV from a bedroom to the living area. Also, the power went out an hour a half before leaving so packing up with no a/c was a very, very hot experience. The check out process this year was not enjoyable due to some communication issues.
A bit of a mixed experience this year. But we did have plenty of relaxation and water fun.

Hi Jon, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following: Thank you for your feedback, and we apologize for the television problem. In Central Florida, lightning strikes are extremely common and so are power outages, unfortunately. We had a power outage the day before you checked in and lost the television in the living room as you stated. I do apologize for any inconvenience. A new television has been installed and everything is back to being fully operational now. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

Nice getaway
Nice, quiet cabin right on a small lake, great for a weekend getaway. It was comfortable and well furnished. With a smart TV, we were able to watch some of our favorite shows during the rainy part of our stay, and then we sat out on the big screened in back and on the large deck when the sun was out. It had a barbeque but we didn't use it due to the weather. The only issues we had were first, we discovered two burned out outlets on separate six-outlet plugs, one of which had a floor heater plugged into. We sent messages to the host AND Evolve (through the app), but never heard back, and I thought it should be taken care of right away. We unplugged the heater and left it unplugged for the rest of our stay. Secondly, there was a lot of dirt on the floor that we had to sweep up. Lastly, many of the horizontal surfaces were sticky, like drinks had been spilled but not wiped up. It just seemed that the cleanup wasn't done very well.Overall, however, we were happy with our stay in the cabin.
This is the third time we have rented this property. We enjoy the location because it is close to family, the lake is beautiful, and the view from the back porch is amazing. Even when it rained (which it normally does on Florida hot afternoons) the view from the porch made the booking worth it. Upon checking we noticed the TV was not working but after contacting the owner we came up with a solution. Would rent this property again.
It was everything and more. The view and the amenities were incredible. The weather cooperated and an amazing time was had. What a beautiful view for the sunrise. The house has everything you need for a great getaway. We would highly recommend this property to anyone.
