Excellent location that offers many vacation options for a relaxing beach vacation to those seeking adventure in exploring the wide variety of outdoor, nightlife, and natural wonders that Southeast Florida has to offer while away from your home town.

The house is suitable for a large family and children. It is located in a quiet neighborhood within the intercostal canal complex along the ocean shore of the Pompano Beach community. The Pompano City Beach is only 3 minutes from the house with plenty of parking availability for easy access, the city beach front park area is newly remodeled and very clean with the beach itself being highly regarded for its expansive size and sand quality.

For outdoor adventure, if you are passionate about fishing, a scuba diver or snorkeling enthusiast, or desire a few rounds of golf, this is the place for you! Just off the Pompano Beach ocean front is some of the best diving/snorkeling locations and fishing opportunities in South East Florida with many charter choices available at the Hillsboro Inlet marina that is only 5 minutes from the house. The Pompano Beach municipal golf course is 1 mile away and the Greg Norman designed Pines Golf course is 15 minutes from the house.

If shopping, restaurants, and entertainment is what you crave, less than 0.5 miles from the house on the Pompano Beach ocean front street A1A there are restaurants that offer ocean views while you dine and music entertainment for dancing. More shopping and dining opportunities are available at the Pompano Citi Center just 5 minutes from the house. For those who like the games of chance the Isle Casino Racing at Pompano Park complex is 15 minutes from the house. If the desire is to explore other nearby Florida locations for day trips Delray Beach is 10 minutes away, Fort Lauderdale is 30 minutes away, and the famous Miami Beach area is 60 minutes away.

If you prefer a low key vacation, the updated home itself is large enough for you to spread out and take time to relax. The clean 3 bedroom home with 2 bathrooms, has a large electrically heated pool, with an expansive backyard for the kids to run around, a screen enclosed Florida room, and cool shaded tables where the adults can barbecue, sip cocktails and keep an eye on the kids in the heated pool. If you want to stretch your legs, Alsdorf Park is a short walk from the house with a waterfront nature path. Hillsboro Inlet Park is 5 minutes away and is great for intercostal waterway boat watching, lighthouses, and play area for the kids.

Great vacation

Great vacation spot near the beach (although we had to use our car since the boulevard to get there isn’t pedestrian friendly). The backyard is very private and the neighborhood is peaceful. However, it should be noted that the house is close to an airport so there’s a droning sound every few minutes. All in all, I recommend this place and had a wonderful time with my family of 6 adults and 2 kids.

Hello Roger, It was a pleasure hosting you and Beverly for a month and appreciate the 5 star rating. Your review does however mention that the bed in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. I feel that this statement is inaccurate. We purchased the mattress less than a year ago. The mattress we purchased is a good quality medium-firm mattress, with the intention to cater to most people. If the mattress was either too soft or too firm I do apologize. Also thanks for letting me know about the knives. We will be replacing those with a new set.

Great Home in a great location!

This home is lovely and was perfect for my family who traveled to the area for two family weddings. The inside was very well decorated, clean and had all amenities we needed. The backyard was especially great as we spent a lot of time by the pool and on the screened in porch (I highly recommend the extra cost for having the pool heated because we were able to enjoy it the entire week!). The house was in a good location, close to major highways and the beach. Donna (the owner) and Sherwin (the property manager) were very quick to respond to all inquiries and checked in with me during the week to make sure our stay was perfect. They were very accommodating for requests and we had a great experience overall staying at this home, I highly recommend!

First of all we would like to thank the owners Rick & Donna and property manager Sherwin for making our stay awesome. We had a wonderful first experience with VRBO! We arrived early Christmas Day and had everything ready for us. House was very clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. We had a nice Christmas gift left on the table in the dinning room. Thank you Donna and Rick ❤ House is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to beaches & restaurants. The heated pool was very clean and large. We had everything for the beach as of chairs, umbrellas, cooler, towels and toys for kids. Property manager is the nicest guy we ever dealed with. Answered all questions so fast. They refund deposit soonest they check there is no damage at home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful and Memorable Experience

My family just visited this beautiful home and can't say enough about our great experience. The property itself is beautiful, spacious and complete with everything we needed. The home has beach chairs and towels for the beach, so we didn't have to worry about those things. It is also close to the beach. The beach suggested was great with parking, a small park area, restaurants and shopping which was very convenient. We enjoyed every bit of the house whether hanging out in the kitchen/dining area or watching tv in the lovely living room. At times, we hung out in the morning in the enclosed porch or out in the private back enjoying the large heated pool and the tropical feel of the landscape. We felt pure joy being in this surrounding! To add to the pleasant features of this property, we were armed with information of all the great places to go and see in and out of the area. This was communicated before our visit by Donna, Rick and their property manager, Sherwin. There is also a binder full of information and categorized so that you can easily read and plan your activities. Sherwin was wonderful throughout our stay and kept in contact just in case we needed anything. He provided even more information on various places and he provided great tips on getting to different places we selected to visit. We are still talking about our trip and the great memories we shared together. We are grateful having captured these in pictures which we can look back on. The consensus is that we would definitely go back and stay at this wonderful home again. Thank you to Donna, Rick and Sherwin for helping to make our family vacation so memorable!

Private family home

The house was perfect for my family trip with my three sons and parents. The layout makes everything functional with a very nice updated kitchen and full bathrooms. The pool and outdoor space was perfect for swimming, grilling and relaxing when we weren't out and about. Close proximity to a clean and family friendly beach. We really enjoyed our stay and excellent communication throughout the week with the owner!

Just what we needed!

Cute little getaway house tucked away off the busy beach trail that fit our 2 families nicely. The house had great space, kitchen and a fabulous back yard and pool. All food amenities within minutes. Not as close to the beach as we hoped but we enjoyed the pool better anyways! We looked forward to chilling with a drink by the pool and listening to the Mockingbirds sing next to iguanas in a tree. One drawback for the location is the Pompano Airport has small but loud planes taking off during day pretty consistently but usually calms down later in afternoon.....overall loved the house and location and recommend to anyone that likes to chill like us!

Great experience wonderful vacation, great location and beautiful beaches. Weather was perfect and the property manager Sherwin is by far the best I have every dealt with. He was responsive, patient (with our silly questions), helpful with options to enhance the vacation, and great advice overall. Great location, relating vacation

The location is great. 7 min drive to Pompano public beach, Starbucks, Whole food and Pulbix -3-4 min. Very quiet neighborhood. A big plus is porch with screen where you can relax in the shade and watch kids swimming in the giant pool. We wish that kitchen is stocked more with plates, pans and utensils. Overall the house is spotless, and tastefully decorated. Sherwin, the property manager is very helpful in every question. Thank you for a great stay!

Amazing property and location

This property was absolutely perfect. I was there with my two kids (4 & 6) and my parents. There was plenty of room in the house for everyone. The house has everything you need. We spent most of our time in the pool which was well kept and and perfect! The area is safe and it’s close to restaurants, grocery stores and shops. It’s an easy ride to the beach and you can walk to a nearby park. There are also parks nearby that you can drive to. Sherwin, the property manager, is so wonderful to work with. He continually checks in and if you text him a question, he responds within minutes. Thank you for an amazing experience...I would highly recommend this property and I hope we will be back soon!

Memorable family vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Oasis Beach House. If you decide to stay here, don't bother packing pool towels, beach umbrellas or a cooler - Rick and Donna have them available for use at the house! This was a huge plus for our family of 6 since we flew to Florida - less things we had to pack and fewer checked bags. If our travels ever take us back to the Pompano Beach area, we will definitely stay here again.

A Piece of Paradise

This was our first time using VRBO and did not know what to expect. Well...let me tell you it was an EXCELLENT experience. In the words of our children..."How can we go back to staying in hotels". The home owners were professional and available for questions prior to our stay. They have the house equipped with everything you will need at the beach, in the kitchen, bedrooms/bathroom and the pool. Just bring your clothes. Their property manager was also helpful during our entire stay. He checked on us daily. The home was beautifully decorated and the backyard was spectacular. Having the pool right outside our bedroom door, a screen in porch and a grill made us feel right at home. This home is located in the perfect area! We were a mile from Pompano Beach and close enough to take day trips to Miami (South Beach) and Ft. Lauderdale! We will definitely choose this property for future vacations! Willis & Edna

cozy and relaxing

Agent Sherwin Brown gave us a warm welcome by making sure everything was in place and equipped. It is a quiet neighborhood less than a mile from the water body. We liked the screened outdoor area which was so convenient for guys to stay longer and louder. It was rainy weekend during our holiday, but we really had fun at home - BBQ, drinks, and food. Mr. Brown was making sure our stay was all perfect by texting every morning and checking if we needed anything. Second bath had no hot water, but who needs hot water when they have a pool right next to it. Thank you Rick & Donna for hosting us at your house and made sure we had a wonderful holiday and memories.

In regards to hot water to the master bath, hot water is provided by a tank less water system in place when we purchased the house. This was fine for previous owner (an elderly lady) but, now with 6-8 guest at the house we have learned of its limitations. When multiple systems (clothes washer, dish washer, guest bath, etc...) are pulling hot water, capacity is limited to reach the most distant point in the system (master bath). We are very sorry if this caused any inconvenience to you or your family and rest assured we are examining options to improve the hot water system to prevent this inconvenience for our future guest.
