A well-equipped grocery store is located within the property. The grocery store is open from morning to late evening offers a good range of fresh fruits, vegetables and groceries and also alcohol. There are multiple restaurants within the property as well. There is a spa and a gym. Classes are offered through the day. Some are paid and others are free. This is a family friendly resort. Parents can enjoy the spacious lounge platform or Ola Mulata restaurant. Slow River of The Grand Mayan is open from 10 AM - 6:30 PM. Its waters run through the facilities of The Grand Mayan giving those who swim the opportunity to enjoy the best views of the resort while relaxing in the sun.

Aqua Park by Kid's Club Pool hours are from 9 AM - 9 PM. Located next to the Kid's Club, this water park for children of all ages has a complete pool with slides, fountains and activity areas. It has a Häagen-Dazs ice cream counter.

The Kid's Club is your best option during the holidays so that the little ones can have a great time! Located next to the wave pool at Grand Mayan, the Kid's Club offers a variety of amazing activities, including water activities in the pool for children from 5 to 12 years old. All these activities are supervised by our expert staff. The Kid's Club also has weekly themed nights where for an additional fee, you can drop off your children and enjoy a night at the resort while making new friends and trying new things at events such as Pirates Night or the Pajamas Party.

Aside from that there are multiple classes Guacamole making, salsa, paddle boarding, aqua aerobics and more. Some classes have an additional charge.

Golf carts are available from morning until late at night to travel around the resort. The resort is located in sprawling acres of land. It is ideal for walking and jogging as well.
