Gorgeous 3BR Colonial House with a Backyard Oasis

Welcome to our light-filled, thoughtfully decorated home in Petworth, Northwest Washington, DC. With three bedrooms, two king beds, one queen bed, and 2.5 bathrooms, there is room for up to six guests to settle in comfortably.

This is our own home, and we’ve put care into both its design and the everyday comforts that make a stay feel easy. Enjoy welcoming spaces to spend time together, a well-equipped kitchen for shared meals, and a private backyard for relaxing outdoors—all in a residential neighborhood with friendly neighbors.

MAIN FLOOR

The open layout connects the living room, dining area, and kitchen, making it easy to spend time together while still having space to spread out. A half bathroom, laundry closet, and access to the porch and private backyard are also on this level.

Living and dining: Unwind on the comfortable corner sofa or in one of the two leather chairs, with a 75-inch TV and a wood-burning fireplace. The dining table seats six, beside a bay-window bench surrounded by plants.

Kitchen and laundry: The kitchen includes a coffee station, double-door refrigerator, double oven, pantry, and cookware for preparing meals at home. A front-loading washer and dryer, along with laundry supplies, are available for your use.

PRIVATE BACKYARD

Our secluded backyard is a favorite place to slow down. Enjoy your morning coffee, prepare a meal on the grill, or relax beneath the evening lights, surrounded by greenery and comfortable outdoor seating.

UPSTAIRS: THREE BEDROOMS AND TWO FULL BATHROOMS

All bedrooms and full bathrooms are on the second floor and require stairs.

Primary bedroom: A king-size bed, dresser, spacious closet, and private bathroom with double sinks.

Second bedroom: A king-size bed, closet, and desk.

Third bedroom: A queen-size bed, dresser, and closet.

The second full bathroom includes a bathtub.

YOUR SPACE AND PRIVACY

You’ll have exclusive use of the main home’s first and second floors, porch, and private backyard.

The basement is a separate apartment with its own entrance and is not included in your reservation. We stay there while hosting, but there are no shared indoor or outdoor spaces.

PARKING

Free street parking is usually available close to the house, often right in front. Spaces are public, not reserved or guaranteed. There is no private or off-street guest parking.

HOUSE RULES

Please help us be considerate neighbors by keeping noise at a respectful level, especially outdoors. Quiet hours begin at 11 p.m., and parties are not allowed.
