Vacation apartment in Heviz, Hungary w/aircon, balcony, parking & elevator

If you would like to be close to town and the thermal lake in Heviz but still want peace and quiet, this apartment will be perfect for you. With 2 balconies and a view to a forest, you can listen to birds and crickets every day. The 1-bedroom apartment with an open kitchen and living room is totally equipped, airconditioned and has a washing machine. Free parking space in the enclosed courtyard.

The apartment is on the 1st floor (not ground floor, but next one) in a newly built building with an elevator, so you do not have to walk on stairs if you do not want to or have heavy luggage to carry.
The kitchen is American styled, so it is together with the livingroom but the room is very spacious. Two balconies open from the living room, one faces East and one faces South, toward the forest where are no other buildings.
There are mosquito nets on each window and balcony door and blinds as well. The best thing about this apartment is its energy. It is bright, airy and so calm. We love to come here on vacation a couple of times during the year.
Heviz is a magical place. The thermal lake that is here is the biggest thermal lake in the world. The water is always warm (not too hot in the summer and pleasant in the winter). Even in the winter when it is cold or there is snow, you can swim in the lake. The town itself is a little pearl of Hungary, you can see beautiful gardens and tasteful buildings. You can walk around, you do not need to get into your car. There are plenty of good restaurants in the town (although our favorite is in Alsopahok, a neighboring village) and it is called Sziklakert. You need car for this unless you want to walk about 50 minutes. (It is totally doable, there are sidewalks).
