Took my son down for a couple days of fishing over spring break. We had a great time, caught all kinds of fish, saw all kinds of nature. Saw quite a bit of nature right in the back yard, lizards, sea turtles, catfish, wading birds, and crabs all right out the back door.
The property was in a perfect location for walking restaraunts/bars as well as biking to parks and throughout Port Solerno. It was a perfect size for 2 people.
Good location just off of Manatee Pocket which is close to the inlet. The boat dock is very close, and it was easy to get in and out with power and water easily available. Mel was very nice and a good communicator.
We enjoyed a relaxing stay at this cute and well-maintained waterfront property. The expansive back deck is well suited for hosting family and friends. Several restaurants are within walking distance. The owner was kind and responsive. Highly recommended.
The house is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood that is close to shopping and restaurants. The shaded deck was appreciated with it's view of the waterway and boats.
Clean, quiet area. Everything was exactly as pictured/described. Backyard is fantastic, with lots of places to hang out. Renters should know the property is a duplex. At the time we stayed, the other side was completely empty (and unfurnished) so we had the whole place to ourselves. However, it's worth an ask when considering the rental if the other side has anyone in it, because then you will share the outdoor area, grill and laundry. It was perfect for our needs, we had a boat tied up at the dock and plenty of space to park the boat trailer.
We stayed a week. The weather didn’t let us enjoy the dock and deck as much as we would have but we were able to have coffee and cocktails out there a few times. We cooked out ion the grille. There were many nice restaurant a quick walk away. Definitely recommend property.

Super Cute & Clean Cottage
Very cute and clean cottage. Spectacular backyard! Nice linens on the bed made for a great nights sleep. Melissa is very easy to work with and super accommodating.
She also returned our deposit quickly.
I totally recommend this cottage and would rent again next trip to see my parents.
Overall our stay at the Waterhouse was good ! Some minor hiccups but overall the house was clean and ready for us to arrive. Unfortunately the seas and storms were on and off so only got some fishing in but it’s a wonderful place to dock your boat at being so close to the ocean!
We enjoyed staying at this property. It met all of our needs, including docking our 27” boat. The provided beach chairs and towels were a nice touch. (Even though we brought our own) next time we will know! There are two bikes (one has a flat tire) but we could def have rode to the close restaurants. We will stay at this location again! So clean and nice!
Wonderful 3 days seeing the area with family. Very clean and nice unit. Thank You. I would recommend this unit to anyone

Nice house but....
Everything about the house and area are as described in the listing except the proximity to the Florida East Coast Railroad that is very close. This normally would not be a problem but this runs all night long on the hour. The train blows its horn from Stuart (3 miles) all the way through Port Solerno. For anyone that has ears, you will definitely hear the horn.
This was not indicated to us so I am making you aware. If you are a heavy sleeper, than it may not be a problem.
Otherwise, the house, deck, water access and surrounding area is nice. Plenty of decent restaurants nearby.
