Family Fun Property

Rented this property for a family trip for Easter. Everyone had a great time using the hot tub, sauna and pool table. Plenty of beds for everyone. Beautiful house located in a quiet area. Great place to rent.

Fantastic stay in an outdoor community

Exactly as advertised.. great location and property to relax and unwind in nature. We used the fire pit and Jacuzzi after hiking the nearby trails, playing at local golf courses, and hanging out on Lake Magog. There is so much to do in the area you could easily spend all day away, or on a rainy day you can comfortably cook and hang out at the property. Would recommend!

Family Reunion

We stayed here for 4 days and had a wonderful time. The owner was very helpful and quick to answer our questions. Even though it rained much of the time, we enjoyed the salt spa, the sauna and the BBQ. We would definitely stay here again.

The location is excellent and the outdoor amenities are quite nice. There are lots of sleeping options for a large group. While the place was clean, there were bulbs out in many fixtures, broken light switches, and the half bathroom door handle is tricky and I was stuck for a few moments. Guests should note that there is an extra charge for any extra guests on the property, even if they don’t sleep there. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were sparse. Also, bring any pantry supplies or toiletries you might need beyond liquid hand soap. I struggled with giving this a rating, because the place is fine, if a bit worn, but the experience did not match the premium price we paid.

Our stay was wonderful — the house met our needs and beyond. Patrick was extremely helpful and welcoming. The home and grounds were spotless, and the mattresses were very comfortable. The location was ideal, just a short drive to restaurants, boutiques, l’Abbaye St-Benoît, Orford hills, and much more. I have no hesitation in recommending this property!

We were there in March break with 5 adults and two children. The house worked well for all. Close to Mt. Orford in beautiful wooded area. Kids and skiers loved hot tub/pool and sauna.Fireplace much used and well supplied with wood and kindling. There was a big storm with area wide power outage. Patrick, our host was very responsive. Luckily it only lasted about 10 hours ( again thanks fireplace). We hope to go back.

Great stay!

Really enjoyed our stay in this home. It's been a couple of months so I'm a little foggy on some details, but the hot tub was amazing!!! We were there to ski, so being close to Orford was amazing. Any questions we had were always answered quickly - thanks Patrick!

Winter getaway

We had a great stay at this property with a group of ten. So many great activities to enjoy in the area, there’s a great trailhead for hiking less than I km away from the chalet . We had a relaxing time at the home . The sauna is gorgeous and the hot tub nice and large. It should be noted that there are 3 bedrooms, one bed upstairs is in a common area, and one bed is in a laundry room in the basement, one is in the finished basement and there is a very comfortable Murphy bed in the living room, nevertheless, we all had great sleeps and all had beds.

Family Celebration

We stayed at the Chalet in Austin in early March for a family celebration for my husband's retirement. We had 4 couples and 2 young children and the house was perfect to accommodate our group. There were plenty of sleeping options, the kitchen is big enough for hosting dinner parties, and the outside facilities (hot tub and spa) were a plus. Patrick, the host, responding quickly to all inquiries. Overall, the house met our expectations and was perfect for our short stay.

Bring a little extra

Overall we enjoyed ourselves and there was enough space for our group. There were a couple burnt out lights inside, door handle to a washroom left me trapped for a few minutes because it fell off. Should have extra linens available just in case and warm covers. And some pantry basics as well as full hand soap bottles. Bring your towels as well if you plan on using spa. Cost for bringing pets is pricey so be aware. If you want it a few hours earlier the extra cost is also pricey. In the end, nice place but for the price could have had a few extras.

Malgré qu’il est de plus en plus rare que les chiens soient acceptés en chalet, nous avons choisi de les accepter dans nos propriétés mais avec un frais. Les chiens occasionnent un usure prématuré et un risque de bris élevé. Nous avons d’ailleurs constaté des graphignes sur la porte extérieur du sauna et de la porte entrée du patio …..
