We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location on the water. It’s a quiet location convenient to many Buckeye Lake favorites. I enjoyed time relaxing and reading my book on the deck.
Rick was a great host and his property on Buckeye Lake was beautiful. We had a very relaxing weekend and the setting was perfect for us to relax and enjoy each other's company.
Perfect, cozy place right on the water for my husband, 15 year old son and myself. We just needed a short, relaxing getaway to do a little fishing, walking and recharging. The Boatyard for dinner and Dips on the Lake for dessert were perfect and walking distance.
The cottage was adorable! Beautiful view! Plenty of space for a family w a queen bed and the loft w 2 twin beds. Having a full kitchen and laundry is so nice while on vacation. We had a wonderful stay and cant wait to come back and visit againagainagainintfuturefuture.
Perfect place to enjoy a lake getaway to wind down the summer and catch the action at THE OSU football game with our daughter. Quiet and serene and conveniently located near many great restaurants. Loved the charm of the property.
Rick’s home was clean, decorated nicely and had everything we needed for a long weekend away. Central to restaurants, right on Buckeye Lake, beautiful gardens. Definitely recommend!
The house was easy enough to find and had everything we needed for a long weekend. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nicely furnished. The best part of the stay was sitting on the balcony watching the boats and fishermen on Crane and Buckeye Lake. Richard, the property owner, lives next door, and was a joy to talk to. We will stay here again.
A great location on Buckeye Lake. Walking distance to the brewery and several stores and restaurants. A walking/biking trail nearby. Would have been nice to have pods for the Keurig coffee maker - however they were out of them when we stayed. Otherwise a nice house to stay in.
Very enjoyable stay. Place was very clean and comfortable. Surroundings were very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed the view from the balconies. Rick had bikes, fire ring, kayaks available for our use. He was very accomodating and available when he was needed. Would definitely stay again!
Cozy villa/loft on a beautiful, quiet cove. Owner had docks, kayaks, bikes, and firepit available at site. We brought lake floats and paddle board. Perfect location for paddle boarding. Loved the 2nd story deck/porch complete with ceiling fans for a relaxing visit.
Cute group of homes that are very picturesque and cozy. Dock space to bring your own boat was included in rental cost. Buckeye lake was a great place with plenty of places on the lake for food and drinks.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Very nice but quirky structure.
The building is charming and clean and location is beautiful, but the structure is a bit quirky w BR and the only BA on first floor, kitchen & LR on 2nd and additional sleeping space on 3rd (late night bathroom visits are potentially awkward as climbing steps may be, especially for elderly. No problem for just wife and I.My biggest gripe is communication as the host responded to questions, but I wasn't notified and didn't know he replied until I inadvertantly saw the reply days later. A few more days after that, I got a notification that the host reached out but saw only the original Q&A on the website. If a second communication was sent, I was never aware.Whether due to my inability to get communications, or a lack of information having been sent, we weren't sure where to park or how to get into the building, or even which building it was. This was in part due to an outdated pic on the website showing 3 buildings but there are actually 4. We figured it out quickly, but it was late at night and someone prone to get uptight may been uptight or put out. OR the chance exists of someone jacking around at the wrong door at 1:00 AM. Also, there are one way streets that take you a cirtutous route. We drove the wrong way down what is really an allley. Not an issue due to how late it was and how little traffic ever used the street, but a bit confusing.
