5/5 Stars — Perfect stay for game day! Great house! We stayed here for the Nebraska vs. Oregon football game, and it was ideal for our group. We had three couples, and the accommodations worked out perfectly for everyone—plenty of space, comfortable rooms, and a wonderful setup. We also spent time exploring the Oregon Coast, which made the trip even more special. We would definitely stay here again!

The location has a beautiful view and ample parking. The deck is great. For anytime of day. The home was clean and all of the basics in the kitchen and bathrooms were met.

Beautiful, quiet spot. Really cute place that was clean, well maintained and perfect for our group. We made great use of the kitchen (it has the basics for meal prep and service). Cell service and wifi can be spotty at times, but we didn't have too many issues. The cushions for the deck chairs had been left out, so they were soaked, and we couldn't use them (and the table and chairs needed to be ridded of cobwebs), but we enjoyed sitting out and taking in the peacefulness of the surroundings. Would definitely recommend this property.

Lake Street Cottage is Awesome

A perfect weather weekend and this cottage combined for an awesome 3 night stay. We are able to sit out on the deck and enjoy the sunshine and lake view all while watching swallows, Robins, blackbirds, woodpeckers and Eagles. Winnie, our furry companion beagle, really enjoyed the deck. Mostly though she was happy to have her own fenced space for safe exploring and sunning. Beds are comfy, and everything a cook needs can be found in the kitchen.

Awesome place to stay

We had an awesome time here - such a good location and you can't beat the view. Very comfortable stay with lots of space to spread out and amenities in the kitchen. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place, very quiet and relaxing with beautiful views. It is a little ways from town through the trees out to the lake but that is to be expected with most lake properties. Fred Meyer grocery store in Florence is the place to go for any necessities.

Lake Street Cottage

My wife and friends have stayed at this property each time we come to Florence to play golf. Usually an annual event for the past five years. Here is the positive, the inside of the house was very clean. Unfortunately that is the only positive I can report. Here are disappointments: 1. No umbrella for the deck, which makes sitting outside and enjoying the lake view very hot when the sun is shinning down on you. 2. the deck was dirty (tables and chairs). 3. there were four cushions for the seats (dirty) but only two back cushions. 4. While cooking on the gas grill (grates were very dirty, we washed them before use) the propane ran out while attempting to cook our dinner. We did not think to check the propane as that should be completed by property management. 5. Only one coffee filter left for the drip coffee maker. I brought some from our home, but mine are cone and the rental is basket. 6. Only two garbage bags were left for use. we bought more. 7. No toaster. It is unfortunate this house has lost its focus. It was always much better.

This location and accommodations were perfect for our family retreat. The beach, dunes, and lake, offered something for every one to enjoy, and the home was very comfortable for our group of adults.
