On Lake Oconee 4 Bed 5 Bath Villa Inside the Cuscowilla with Large Terrace Level

Upgraded and renovated in 2024! Tuscan-inspired, waterfront Villa # 417 at Lake Oconee in the Cuscowilla Golf and Lake community. Located on Lake Oconee with assigned boat slip directly behind the villa. Conveniently located between Atlanta and Augusta. Athens is only 50 minutes away for UGA games. This is the ONLY Lodge Villa rental with a large Terrace level, with 1500 sq ft of entertainment space and direct access to the lake and dock. Reserved boat slip directly behind villa included.

Completed MAJOR RENOVATION during Winter 2024. Check out the new pictures. Focus is for 2 families, with a master bedroom with a king size bed on each level. The 2nd bedroom on each level will have 2 queens and a twin day bed.

****Please note that Cuscowilla is a private club and as of now, access is NOT available to any of the Cuscowilla facilities for rental guests. This includes pool, golf, tennis courts, etc. The primary renter must be 30 years or older to book this property ***

All rental pricing from Memorial day weekend through Thanksgiving weekend INCLUDES the Terrace level. Other holiday weekends, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve and Masters week will require adding the terrace level. Rates for these holidays INCLUDE the terrace level. Outside of this date range, the terrace level will be an additional cost.

This property provides a unique opportunity to support large groups. We are the ONLY rental villa that can provide a terrace level. The design allows you to gather in central areas or in smaller areas within the suites. You can enjoy the terrace level with over 1500 sq ft of indoor space with multiple sitting areas, pool table, 3 large TVs, surround sound media center and large kitchen with island. This area opens to a large protected patio with ceiling fans overlooking the lake. Please note that the Terrace Level of this unit is an additional cost of $250/night plus taxes and cleaning(non-summer).

This lodge villa is perfect for 2 families. Each floor has a bedroom with a king size bed and a 2nd bedroom with 2 queens and a twin for the kids. When you are ready, you can head down to the terrace level where everyone can meet and have direct access to the back area and lake.

The main level has 2 bedrooms and a family room with a full kitchen. This level has 3 flat screen TVs, with a large deck and sun room to relax. Each bedroom has a full bath with granite counter tops.

The upstairs level has 2 bedrooms with a family room and a beverage area. This level has 3 flat screen TVs. Each bedroom has a full bathroom. This level opens up with french doors to a large tiled covered patio with ceiling fans and a very nice view overlooking the lake. This is a wonderful place to kick back and relax.

You can rent a boat and dock it directly behind your unit! If you prefer to bring your own boat you can use the ramp at the nearby Marina and store your trailer for a small fee then navigate a short distance to your dock at the Villa!

Although we do support larger groups, guests must understand that this area is a residential community with full time owners. No outdoor parties will be allowed. Please refer to rental agreement for details.

Weekly rentals have a significant discount applied of around 20%. A weekly rental cannot start on a Saturday. Holiday weekends require a 3 night minimum and must add the terrace level. 3 night minimum during June, July, August.

We want to make sure that we have great guests that stay with us, and we want to provide a great service. As part of this process, we strongly encourage that all guests have a 5-star VRBO guest rating.

Please carefully review Rental Agreement as Cuscowilla has some rules that must be followed.

For example:
This is a NON SMOKING unit. This includes cigarettes, cigars and marijuana inside or on the deck/balcony. Any evidence of smoking on this property will result in a $250 fine. Any evidence of marijuana will result the group’s immediate eviction from the property with no refund

Great place for family reunion!

We loved staying here!! Everyone had their own space in the two levels upstairs but the bottom level that opened out to the lake was the best. All of the furnishings were very nice and we had plenty of dishes etc for all our meals. The canoe was an added bonus that we fully enjoyed as well. GREAT TIME and GREAT PLACE!!!!

4th of July Fun!

We had an excellent stay at this property! The terrace level was amazing as was the top balcony with the added swing. It was nice to be able to spread out amongst the floors. The beds were comfortable and amenities were very nice! Our kids enjoyed kayaking in the cove. The view of the 4th of July fireworks can’t be beat! We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Property

We had a family reunion, celebration of life event with a large group of all ages. The place was totally awesome. Amazing location, exquisite, beautiful inside and out. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a 1st class home with plenty of space. It has everything you need to have a huge gathering but also offers very private bedrooms and a spectacular view on the lake. We will be back!

What an excellent set up for entertaining a large number of people. We celebrated a 40th birthday party and couldn’t have picked a better location. The pictures don’t do it justice and they are pretty great pictures. Can’t wait to return.

Perfect Family Thanksgiving Gathering

Awesome stay! From our initial contact and throughout our stay, our host was awesome! We rented the entire villa including the terrace for our Thanksgiving family gathering and everything was perfect! Each unit had those extra special touches and attention to detail with guests in mind. Our group had plenty of room to gather for meals on the terrace level or still away to a quiet sitting area, balcony, or screened in porch to read. Fishing off the dock, canoeing on the lake, playing corn hole—we did it all! Jim was very responsive to the random questions we had (we didn’t have many as he provided so much great information upfront!). Five stars all around!!!

A Perfect Place To Stay

Before I can even get to the gorgeous villa at Lake Oconee, I have to express my gratitude to the host/owner of this beautiful place. From the moment I placed my inquiry of renting the villa for the weekend, Jim was right on top of things. I recall having a question when I submitted the inquiry and Jim went out his Sunday way to call me and answer my question. From there it only heighten the expectations for the weekend. Any question or concern I had Jim was there to answer. Jim offered his personal website with pictures of the villa, as well as his Facebook page and information to where I could rent boats & jet skis! I was celebrating my 30th birthday and I wanted to check to see how the place looked in person so I could see how the chef needed to set up. Jim allowed me to take a look at the location before I got down there. Above and beyond people! Needless to say, the villa looked just like the pictures on his website. Cuscowilla was clean, spacious, updated, well decorated, beautiful furniture, soft clean beds, plenty of fresh clean towels, luscious green grass in the back...the pictures do not give you the wrong idea about the place. Its exactly what it shows. Jim understood how important it was for me to celebrate my birthday and he made sure of it. He provided passes for the entire party to get in at the gate to come out and celebrate with me. At the time, he looked for someone to cater food for me. He afford places to eat, places to go out on the boat. I needed more tables and he provided those to me. He even left me a birthday present in the Fridge which I thought was very nice and personal. Jim did not treat me as a client/customer. He treated me like family and that alone goes above and beyond just renting this place. That type of customer service made this villa a great experience than it could have been. I even have to brag about his property manager, Pati. She was there to help by any means possible. The outlet outside on the hospitality suite did not work, she came over to take a look at and provided an extension cord for us to use. Always available at your time of need. We had a great time at this villa and Jim's superb customer service made this happen. We will definitely be returning next summer. Just because of his gracious southern hospitality, I am looking into renting another one of his properties on St. Simons Island. If you are looking for a great time this is the place and Jim is your guy! Thank you again Jim!!

Exceeded everyone’s expectations

We had a gathering of family and friends to enjoy the Thanksgiving holidays and had the entire villa in addition to another property. The lower level was the perfect gathering place for meals and entertainment. The entire villa was very well appointed and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Family Gathering

Our three children and their families came to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We range in age from 78 to 3. There was something for everyone to do. We spent the majority of our time outdoors. playing with the canoe, paddle boards, kayaks, cornhole or just floating in the river. Young Harris boat rental is only a short ride away and we rented jet skis and a ski boat for a day. We cooked and ate every meal at the house. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Instacart delivered our groceries and we had no need to go anywhere. From the oldest to the youngest everyone asked as they left when we were coming back. Thanks for helping us make such special memories.

50th Birthday Celebration at the Lake

I celebrated my 50th birthday at this wonderful getaway at the Lake. The hospitality suite is what made the event special because we could all congregate together and watch the kids play in the lake. The neighbors were very nice and we shared the water toys which were fun. The lake, of course, is beautiful and we were able to enjoy a home cooked French meal in the kitchen. The hosts were helpful.

Perfect for big family get away

We had 14 people from age 9-79. The whole place was very nicely furnished and the beds are comfortable. We had lots of fun in the lower terrace level eating, playing games and pool. We also enjoyed the canoe and paddle boards. Great location on the lake. Close to Publix and restaurants and the marina. Highly recommend!

Family Getaway

We chose this Lodge Villa because it is in the perfect location within Cuscowilla; it is right in the middle of the gated community and directly overlooking the lake. Lake Oconee provides us with an area to escape from the fast paced Atlanta lifestyle. We go to Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee to relax.

What makes this property unique

At our Lodge Villa we can overlook the lake from any level and any room on property. All rooms have direct access to outside decks and patios that overlook the lake. We have a large grass area in back for the children to play, with docks directly behind the property. In addition, we provide the option for access to the Terrace level, which is a great place for entertaining.
