We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Eagle Peak guest house. We had everything we needed and more. The area was quiet and picturesque and the rental was so comfortable and decorated beautifully. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this property!
This was a beautiful location, the space was luxurious and wonderfully decorated. The hosts obviously took great care with all the details and put a lot of effort into making the place comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommended!

A beautiful experience
This was an awesome place to stay. Nestled up the mountain, the views were beautiful, it was so very peaceful. Everything you needed was supplied. If you want to experience life in Alaska get a VRBO not a hotel. Richard has thought of everything.

About the host
Hosted by Richard Marson
A former aircraft rebuilder pilot & art student and now property manager, home builder & father. I've lived in the Anchorage area for 40 years, hiked, biked, floated & flown over Southcentral Alaska for many of them. I designed and built the home we live in.
Why they chose this property
Great location for visitors that want to experience the wild beauty of Southcentral Alaska but still be close to Eagle River and Anchorage. Adventurist walk can start from your doorstep or a few mins away by car at the Eagle River Nature Center with educational programs, trails, views and wildlife surrounded by the Chugach State Park. The Eagle River Nature Center is the trailhead for the Crow Pass Trail and part of the historic Iditarod trail. Shopping and restaurants are 10 mi. away and Anchorage is another 10 mins from there.
What makes this property unique
The views and the dive give guests an outstanding opportunity to see & photograph some of the best wildlife & wilderness visitors can see in the Anchorage area. We are in a quiet wilderness setting with aw inspiring views every day. I have lived in this neighborhood for the last 15 years. I'm frequently drawn to stop on the side of the road to take in the views of wildlife and mountain vistas.
