Large family gathering

We had a large family gathering for the week. This location was perfect. The compound setting allowed space and parking for everyone. The beach access was perfect. The pool was a great place to cool off and relax. The kitchen was well furnished including two refrigerators and two dishwashers. Great location

Christmas Break

Our family group of 16 had an awesome Christmas Break at Cinco Palmas. This oceanfront property was just what we needed to take a break after the frantic holiday season. The ages were 85 to 10 months. The elevator was especially nice for the "old folks" and for grocery times. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, we spent most of the time indoors or walking the beach, but we needed time together, where we didn't need to travel to visit. There was plenty of room to get alone for times, also. The winter weather did not always cooperate but that's life. The younger crowd used the hot tub and spa, and we tried to build a fire on New Year's Eve, but rain prevented that. The main house and one unit were used. The property managers were excellent, during the rental process and while there. We made one call to them after hours and they responded first thing the next morning. We thank everyone for helping us enjoy this family time together. The uses of this space in the summer would be unlimited.

Reunion Delight

I love the size and layout of the home, but lacking some basic amenities and lots of broken items. The Good Points: -The elevator is great for the older folks -The outlying units were perfect for those that needed extra space or privacy -Outdoor area with the fireplace, pool and hot tub is great -Large enough for our group of 8 families Not So Good: -Broken Hot Tub- took at least 5 calls and 3 days to get it repaired -No Hair Dryers, no trash bags, no cleaning supplies to do dishes or wipe counters, One roll of paper towels, one dishcloth, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. You will need to buy EVERYTHING. -Mattresses are passable but not what I would call comfortable. -One of the freezer doors wouldn't close properly due to the seal falling of every time we opened the door -Instructions for operating, tv's, appliances etc was non existant or difficult to find. -Furnishings are old and worn and in need of repair or replacement We enjoyed our stay there even with the disappointing condition of the home. It was a celebration for my Father's 91st birthday which included family from 5 different states. Everyone settled in after we got stocked up on the missing necessities and enjoyed the beach and visiting with each other. Linda B

Great Space!

This property was perfect for our crazy family. The apartments were good for those who didn't want to be "too close", and the big house was great for those of us who want to spend as much time together as possible.
