Fair Winds provided the perfect home for our family vacation. The bedroom configuration suited our family of 6 adults and 3 kids perfectly. Having the pool and hot tub was a great feature, as was the game room with pool table and arcade game. And it was the ideal location right across the street from the beach and close to many attractions and great restaurants.

We had the best stay at this property & didn’t want to leave. My kids loved the pool table, arcade, and hot tub (they were freezing after surfing in 56 water). We will definitely be back and book here again! The binder of info was super thoughtful and helpful, as well.

We have been coming to the Outer Banks for many years and our whole family agreed that this was our favorite house ever. The location was perfect, the house was immaculate, and we LOVED the arcade game!!

We had a fantastic stay in the Outer Banks! The property description was accurate, and the house was great for our family of five, with plenty of room to comfortably accommodate a much larger group. We made full use of everything the house had to offer, including the pool, hot tub, game room, TVs, and all the porches. The kitchen was well suited for making breakfast and even hosting a group for dinner.The location is hard to beat! Just across the street from the beach and conveniently located near the pier, there were plenty of places within walking distance and even more just a short drive away.We would highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again, whether during peak season or the off-season. It was a great house in an ideal location for enjoying everything the Outer Banks has to offer!

Everything we needed

We have been taking OBX family vacations with our kids and their families for the last several years. This is our favorite vacation home to date! It has everything we needed for a wonderful vacation and is a short walk to the beach!

Great location, great house!

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is lovely and well appointed. It is conveniently located near Jenette's pier. We enjoyed walking on the beach and on the pier and even fished one day. The kids particularly enjoyed the arcade game!

Fair Winds is an AWESOME getaway!

This house was very nice and had everything you would need to enjoy a vacation during a pandemic. Everything you needed entertainment wise was there from the WiFi, pool table, hot tub etc. We all are already discussing our next stay in Nags Head and all agree that we would like to come back to this home if possible.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Having a pool and a hot tub in the backyard was amazing. And just across the street is the beach. The house was set up perfectly for our amount of people. It was just overall a great experience. We did leave a day early because of the high winds that were coming in, but other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

We had a great time at Fairwinds! It was nice to be so close to the beach and the house was perfect for our group of friends. We took advantage of the deck in the mornings while drinking coffee and the pool table downstairs in the evenings. It was the perfect location to start our daily explorations of OBX...whether going north or south! I would encourage others to check out Manteo, as well. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Probably the smoothest place I’ve ever stayed in. Communication lacked a bit. Sent messages and no response so called the main number and got the answers. Great house amenities and location.

Great place and location

Spring break trip with family and friends. Great house plenty of room for the 6 of us. Great location and views of ocean, bay, sunrises and sunsets. Hot tub in good working condition and easy to open and cover for one person. Well stock kitchen and second refrigerator a plus. Guys did deep sea fishing trip out of Oregon Inlet fishing center on the Bi-Op-Sea great crew and taking home tons of Tuna. Plan to visit and rent again we picked a winner this year

Handicap

If you're in a wheelchair or use a walker this isn't the place for you. Lovely place but you have to be able to do a lot of walking. All bedrooms are on the second and third floor as well as the kitchen on third floor.

Great house and location

We really enjoyed staying at Fairwinds. The house is very comfortable and clean. I had to work remotely during the week and wasn't sure how well that would work out, but the internet is reliable and there is a nice desk setup with a monitor and ethernet access. Wifi is also strong throughout the house. The location is great. It's a short walk to the beach, and is also really close to a market and a few places to eat. We would definitely stsy here again.
