If visiting the area, we consider staying with Jane, and Sandy🐾, an absolute MUST! Her place is incredibly beautiful and she is the best host you could ask for. The location is very centrally located to anything you want to do in the Burlington, Lexington, Louisville area and downtown Georgetown is such a cute area to walk around with some great food options! After 32 years in Midtown Manhattan as a fashion executive, I relocated to Georgetown to create Bleubird—a thoughtfully designed space inspired by art, wellness, and beautiful surroundings.

With a background in Pilates and yoga, I’ve always been passionate about creating environments that feel both calming and inspiring. Bleubird reflects that vision, blending comfort, design, and a sense of retreat.

I’m nearby if needed and always happy to assist with anything that enhances your stay, while ensuring guests enjoy a private, seamless, and uninterrupted experience throughout their visit.

You may occasionally see our friendly, non-shedding labradoodle on the property.

One of my favorite parts of living in Georgetown is how easy it is to move between town and quiet countryside. You can walk into historic downtown for a good dinner, a glass of wine, or a bit of shopping, then be back at Bleubird in minutes where it’s calm, open, and peaceful.

Evenings are simple here—sunsets over the farmland, the air cools, and everything slows down. It’s an easy rhythm that never gets old, and one I think guests feel right away.
